Not going to pretend I know either people involved all that well but I am familiar with egirl/social media obsessed types and if you date one you'll come to the idea that they will literally walk off a cliff if you don't tell them where to go. These girls will often outright ask for their boyfriends to tell them what to do to "keep them safe", they'll often talk about how they've been abused or exploited by the world and all the bad things going on in their life to give a steroid-like injection into the natural "protector" instinct most men have and fast forward a few months you have what looks like a control freak boyfriend who was basically groomed by the girl to be such a way. Again, not saying this is the case for these particular people but it is a painfully common occurrence with girls in this realm.

Him getting set off by Abi showing some remorse/compassion to Jet would lead into this because it's likely she told him personally how awful Jet was to her and now she's going soft on it and it's going to freak him out/frustrate him she's acting like a battered wife.

Pretty much confirms my suspicions they panic pushed this all out the second Abi wanted to take it back.

Also considering Bex was playing the Landon song when she DJ'd a Christ Dillinger show recently, and often likes Ben and Jet's posts on IG, I would assume that screencap is grossly misrepresenting Shadi's point and could just be about Jet fucking groupies. They're still on good terms with Bex.
