Learning to laugh at yourself and accepting maybe you've done some stupid/bad things over the years and not keeping it all hush hush does wonders for your image, removes a lot of the ammo people have against you. I wont say whether or not that was a Sam thing, but ditching it was 100% the right move for Jets personal brand and Fishtank by association.

More than that, he chilled out this season and stopped being so buttmad about being the butt of the joke at times, he leaned into the sex pest shit and it was funny, he and Ben let Landon "MOG" them and they were mostly transparent about shit with the viewers, all admirable shit over being egotistical faggots like they were being in certain situations.

Slightly copying them is putting it lightly, I agree internet CCs in this sphere do take from each other but just admit it's a straight knockoff & isn't "inspired" by it. A quote from Jim Carrey comes to mind "imitation is the most sincere form of plagiarism."
 
What do you think about Friendtank + Bliccy running their own version of Fishtank instead of Ice Poseidon? A challenge based version of Fishtank instead of the Hellhouse? Could it work? When they come together, they are pulling 1500+ viewers on Kick. James Drake is the muscle that both Ice and Jet lacks and he's an actor(although a terrible one). He can method act an intimidating host. If you watched the latest audition stream Jet did, a lot of people kept mentioning Bashir in their auditions. I think Bash unlocked a new kind of autism pool of people who are not complete losers but were afraid of going on because of the humiliating stuff. So Familytank has an advantage there. Plus they don't have the Nepstein, Marky stuff to worry about. Bliccy is the fun one that can come up with bits. Landon can be the janny. Twins can do the design of the house and art(S4 art was great, S5 had none). All they need is their own Wes.

It is certain that they can come up with more and better challenges than the wiggers. They can come up with more toys and story arcs as well. Although they'd make a lot less, they have no Sam taking like 70% of their profit. Not degenerate Hellhouse stuff but not Normietank either. Could they pull this off? Or perhaps something even more ambitious like their own version of Blood Games as all of them love larping?

Fishtank is inspired by and steals a huge numbers of ideas and skits from Ice Poseidon streams. The robot thing from S5 is just a lamer version of Robot Andy, he would let viewers control the robot for a bit of time and they would use the arms to turn on kitchen burners and try lighting shit on fire or run into people with knives. There is a video somewhere with Ice chasing the robot down the street as it was being used to stab the knife into parked car's tires.

What will make Ice's Kicktank shit is the fact he never does an event very long, two weeks is barely worth the effort of showing up and if he casts well known streamers they'll just walk off like they did on n3on and Sam Pepper's attempts. The only kind of streamer that would work is very low viewer count streamers like Binx before she was on Season 3. The likeable autist is essential for this kind of thing's success.

If they did it it'd probably be good, but I think the only one that has any chance of actually doing it would be James Drake who seems to be under the impression that he's going to be the host of season 6, and probably doesn't want to burn bridges. I think if they do the camping trip that'll be as close to friendtank as we'll get.

The danger with that is that Bash is like the 99th percentile chill and thick-skinned for the type of autism he represents. Most of them are hyper-touchy thin-skinned faggots with huge egos (to be fair, Bash has an ego himself, but he's aware of that and attempts to mitigate it). Think Jon, only on the other end of the IQ Bell Curve. Now that might sound entertaining, to have some history nerd in tears calling the other fish Huguenots, but they're usually too self-conscious to be emotionally reactive and will just withdraw in themselves.
 
i liked ice poseidons version of bloodgames i thought that was really fun actually and that he did a decent job with it.
probably partially just because i like bloodgames type outdoor stuff
but it ran pretty well for the most part and had some pretty funny moments
like he had everyone kitted out with those streamer backpacks and they were on a big open property on texas
there were some little fort buildings on the property but people were also sleeping in bushes and stuff
there were water stations people had to fill up at and then fans could deliver contestants food
and then ice would roam around in the golf cart atv thing and shoot people with pantball guns

this seemed like something ice could do that fishtank could not do like having the big property and all the streamer kits
fishtank is too poor coded for that probably. jet bitches about just buying one streamer backpack

i dont really care if it was a ripoff or whatever idk why people get hung up on that and ice probably does too
if its funny and entertaining then who cares

really my main problem with ice is just his orbiters like sam pepper and chicken andy.
theyre just terminally unfunny.

To be clear, Bezo is having his first ever W: Him and Diamond invited this guy out because he thought the Crazy Gang/Diamond Gang stuff was 100% serious and he wanted to bully Jet into quitting Fishtank so Sam and Ben could save the show. They took his phone and plan to torture him until he completely breaks.
Oh also Bezo claims Diamond is somewhat serious about doing a bitchtank ripoff

E: Oh and those are smart glasses he has on and he keeps reaching up to start recording clips. They took them away at some point and it's not relevant to the story but it drives home how much this guy is uniting Crazy Gang/Diamond Gang over how much he sucks ass
