It could seem difficult for a host to be effective if they are not 100% in like Jet and Ben are during a season. Even Sam was not sleeping at the house and got debriefed before he made his appearances. But I think the most harmful things for any Host is Jet and/or Ben sperging out about basement chat getting antsy wanting to see the house turn to shit. Jet and production in general upturn the show for no good reason and any Host will have a hard time pivoting and even understanding the shift, its effects and reasons.

I disagree, i mean, big brother has 30+ seasons, and the show is pretty much the same every season, sure, bigger budget and audience and all, but the audience would still be there.

Hard disagree, the nigga is funny. When he started transvestigating Rachel I was dying, him hitting on Direnc was so good. Obviously you can find him funny because he's an autistic freak with a GROOVY head, but he's genuinely funny too.
