Five Nights At Freddy's

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Had Scott not done what he did, people would say that Mangle is a trans character or some shit, they would say the Puppet is non-binary, etc.
Don't worry, the wiki did that already by giving pronouns to the fucking robots, which I wasn't aware before. It's pointless as they use the pronouns of the ghosts, who were male or female children... And then a virus is called "they" for reasons. As well as an "it" at some point.
I remember the wiki being more informative of each game while now it's seemingly lacking stuff, but that may be related to how wiki pages in general have declined.

No, it's Mike's nightmares since he draws Nightmare Fredbear in the Security logbook in the section asking about dreams he's had lately. Mike uses dark red ink, Cassidy light red ink and Dave changes text in the book itself.
Then what's the point of seeing an IV at some point?

Are you talking about the same logbook that claims Mike was the protaganist of every FNAF game using different aliases?
Was there a point to make Mike a zombie in SL? He was killed next game anyway, funnily enough. Perhaps Mike wasn't supposed to be the protagonist of Pizzeria Simulator?

If I were to hazard a guess, Dave didn't die immediately and was hospitalized for a time. The IV, Meds and pills would be things that Mike saw sitting in the room. Since he could only hear Mike and Williams voices through psychic friend fredbear in the ending, Dave wouldn't have even known they were there to dream about them.

Since SOTM turned out surprisingly good, you guys think they're gonna stick the landing with Ruin Part 2? Given how they finally managed to make a game with an easily understandable main story, it gives me hope they'll be able to clean up the massive mess of Pizzaplex lore.

Doesn't the Mimic game retcon stuff in that a guy in the 70s made everything, by himself? How's the plot going to work from now on, if at all, if Afton and Henry's discoveries turned out to be stealing from others ala Bill Gates?
No. Afton and Henry still made the original designs, they just contracted Murray to manufacture them. [This is why Murray was complaining about Henry sending him last-minute design changes.]
It does establish that Chica and Foxy weren't originally designed by Fazbear, but we already knew for a while that the Fazbear franchise started out with just Freddy and Bonnie, and that Chica belonged to another establishment called Chica's Party World. SOTM just finally answered how the roster grew between Fredbear's Family Diner and Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.

It also answered a question no one but lorefags cared about, why is Foxy Phone Guy's favorite? Shown in the mail you can find around the place, Phone Guy, named Ralph as seen in one of the books was originally an employee of Murrays who leaked information to Fazbear. This Ralph character is shown in one of the messages to be upset Murray is increasing security so he can't access things anymore. Afton rewarded him with a management position at a Fazbear restaurant to convince him to jump ship from Murrays. So his favorite character is the one from his original workplace. (I'm kidding, the backstory isn't there for just that inconsequential detail but rather to explain why the character is such a loyal Fazbear employee who was around since the springlock suit days.)

Surprisingly good video going over why FNAF 1 was so damn good at being creepy and the little hints of what story there was.
No obnoxious or loud annoying fucking edits either like many other Fnaftubing faggots as of late.
I haven't given a shit about this franchise in a long time (since before the games stopped being about sitting in a chair) but I watched this the other day and he really hit the nail on the head. I think 2 is probably the superior game but 1 just had this vibe that can't be matched. I still remember the threads on /v/ the day it dropped, before the furries got ahold of it.

Its interesting how many story beats were started in the first game and how much of the original trilogy kept with what was in the first game. Also i never really thought of Fazbear Entertainment claning and dumping the corpses.

Wasn't at some point made canon that the robots leaked blood and such and that the bodies were stored here (or at least part of them)?

I really miss when William Afton was just some sick bastard that liked killing kids instead of a mad scientist that built robots to round up countless kids for weird science-magic experiments.
It became unintentionally hilarious when Afton, after murdering a bunch of toddlers in one pizzeria, went to ANOTHER pizzeria to repeat the trick (likely swapping his mustache for a fake beard), then at some point had enough time and resources to build INTENTIONALLY murderous robots for private parties meant to kill people, preferably children (complete with built-in holes to ensure the victim dies horribly at best, is left alive for later work at worst) for some time without being detected, then these robots escaped because even killer robots hate working at the company, then these robots proceeded to... Do fuck all (except for his young daughter, who probably killed more people at some point). Then Afton came back to destroy the originally possessed animatronics for the lulz, got killed by forgetting that ghosts can't harm you, then he was burnt decades later by his son, then he's burnt AGAIN by his son in a scheme to destroy all remaining robots once and for all.
And then later on somehow he becomes a virus, except said virus may be an unrelated robot passing by.

Did I get everything right?

Dayshift at Freddy's reasoning for Purple Man was better than what you would expect for a fangame.

Yes, but Fazbear Entertainments policy for a murder in their locations is to clean and bleach the crime scene and file a missing person report 3 months later. Its explained on the newspapers that the only evidence the police had were from the cameras, and it was only later in another paper that blood and mucus was found in the suits.

I think the funniest part about the way the FNAF lore has trundled on over the years is that I'm 99% sure that the initial "lore" was just supposed to be vaguely creepy window dressing for the horror setting. Like, I'm certain that the only reason there's FNAF lore at all is because MatPat decided to run with it and it blew up in its own right.

Honestly, I blame him for creating an obnoxious community of people who play FNAF for the "story", and somehow ignore the screamingly obvious reality that said story is cobbled together haphazardly and makes basically no sense

DSAF also had the best interpretation of the series protaganist [Jack is what Micheal could have been if Scott was a competent writer.] and was one of the few works not afraid to depict Henry as a bad guy before SOTM made it bluntly obvious.

the retarded thing about William Afton becoming more and more over the top evil is that none of it actually affects the game you're playing. He's more threatening in theory but it doesn't fucking matter in the actual games you play through, except for Sister Location which is a game about how his weird mad science shit harmed his kids.

This has honestly always been one of my issues with FNAF lore. I feel its hard to care because you rarely ever experience it in the moment.

Like, to compare to another evil robot maker... you actually fight Dr. Wily. William Afton is just some guy who is mentioned in books.
