Five Nights At Freddy's

So I heard the were some issues getting the demo up, so Scott said "eh, fuck it" and posted the whole game ready to play.

That's pretty cool of the guy, not gonna lie.
 
Based on what I've seen so far, one thing I can't say I like about the sequel is that it just kind of throws you into the fray without any sense of progression. With the original FNAF, I felt that each night grew steadily in difficulty as it ramped up the tension, and it was fairly easy to keep track of what you were supposed to do while the game still retained enough of a challenge to keep things interesting. It left room for you to get comfortable with the mechanics, but not too comfortable. In FNAF 2, it's like you're thrown in a war between a dozen different bots who are all moving at complete random. None of them seem to follow any discernable pattern to me. It's chaos and cuts into the enjoyability of the game. I know it's hard to tell what the finished game will be like from an early demo, but this is just my first impression.

One thing I do like is that the new bots talk to you. Wonderfully creepy, and I thought it was a real missed opportunity to keep them mostly silent in the first one. I also like the fact that you can actually watch them walk into your room now.

People are saying that he should have continued developing it, as certain aspects supposedly reek of being rushed.

It's a totally expected mistake from someone who tasted true glory, and desperately wants that feeling again like it's heroin.

Maybe he will? After all this came from demo issues and wasn't really planned was it? Maybe THIS is the new demo now?

Apparently his name is BB, and if he sneaks in he can short out the lights, leaving you vulnerable to Foxy. Otherwise he won't harm you directly.

Have bought the game, can now confirm that BB does indeed fuck with your lights. And camps like a little bitch.

Edit: Something weird happened after I was killed for the...sixth time (fuckin' Foxy). Instead of taking me back to the start screen, the game had me play a retro style game as Freddy. You just move through the Pizzeria, but there's something else in there with you. After I chased it for a while, it took me back to the start screen.

I wouldn't take it seriously, but you can bet your ass that there's gonna be a whole new wave of 34 now that it's out. Scott probably saw all the fan art of Hooters-style Chica and decided to go with it.

Are you talking about the guy who'd leave you messages or the guy you play as. If it's the player character you're talking about he winds up fired after the seventh night for tampering with the bot's a.i. I guess the pizzeria hired him back.

No, I know Mike (the protagonist from the first one) lived. I mean the guy leaving you messages. He seems to have the same voice.

I will say, I like how Foxy/Mangle is a tomgirl :left::tomgirl:

I was also seriously wondering what was preventing the player from just wearing the mask 24/7 when I first saw the trailer. A wind up box you need to keep an eye on.. very clever!

I just got it from a friend. Fuck am I excited. Maybe I'll even record it, no clue. All that matters is that I play it. : D

Oh, and I'd be high for the recording, if I did so.

Also, I'm not trying to be a loser bragger or any bullshit like that, but I did manage to beat the highest 4/20 difficulty in the original which is why I'm so excited about this one. I want to see if it'll either be a breeze or wipe the floor with me. I'll keep you guys posted.

Last question, if anyone cares. Blind playthrough, or strategic learning?

And once again, sorry if it seems like I'm whoring for views or whatever. I just want to get involved in the CWCki community and play a game I love.

I now have the game but I'm waiting until Friday to play it, I sure as hell am not playing this by myself.

Also I've heard that
FNAF takes place in 1987 and Day 7 takes place during the day
