Five Nights At Freddy's

I believe one is Y-O-U C-A-N-T?

Nah, the three that I listed were the only ones spelled out. In the SAVETHEM minigame, which is the one where you're Freddy and you follow the Puppet, sometimes there'll be a purple man in one of the hallways. When he touches you, it's a game over with blue static instead of red, the screen flashes "you can't" at the bottom of the screen, and then the game crashes. Pretty spoOoOoOoky.

Decided to have my nephews (8 and 10) play the first game.

The younger one knew about the game, the other had no idea what it was.

I had the older one play through the first two nights. He kept muting the calls, so he didn't have any idea what's going on. He survived the first night, during the second night, he looked at Foxy and said, "What's that?" Younger nephew and I kept quiet about what he did. Eventually, Foxy barged into the room and scared the heck out of him.

After that, he stopped and gave me the reigns. Night 2 took me 2 tries and I finally entered Night 3. The boys then asked me what exactly the animatronics are and why they are attacking me. As I was telling them, Chica caught all of us off guard and freaked us all out. The boys flew off the bed we were on like scared cats as my older nephew described.

None of us ever wanted to play ever again after that.

Sooo after a dicking around on the cameras for a while I found something pretty creepy. When I was checking on the main hall I found the marionette just standing in the hallway staring at the camera and after a few seconds he faded away. I've never actually seen his whole body before but holy shit is he tall, like his body is disproportionately long compared to how small his head is and how thin his body is. It's a bit unnerving to me for some weird reason. He also had this kinda angry look on his face too.

Yeah the Doll is lanky as shit.

Also worth noting that in that particular minigame the purple man appears to be wearing a badge and holding something that looks like a knife.
And that thing is supposed to be designed for entertaining young children.....

Now you can listen to the FNAF 2 music box for thirty minutes. If only it was like in the video would one not worry too much about the slender puppet that is the spawn of Satan.

Interestingly enough, I actually had a music box that played that exact song growing up and it even came with a paper that had the lyrics to the actual song. The song is called "My Grandfathers Clock" and the part of the song that plays when the little warning sign is orange is about the grandfather's "time running out", and the part that plays when the sign is red is about the grandfather dying.

When you consider that song, it is fitting all because it means the puppet will be coming to get you, provided the animatronics don't come to you first.

Oh it's definately fitting, and a bit eerie. Like the actual song itself sounds like a fairly innocent children's song, but when you actually know the lyrics it's pretty damn disturbing. It's like the perfect song they could've used for the whole situation with the puppet. And the pop goes the weasel song he plays before killing you is a nice touch too.

Well that's depressing as hell.

This got that "Cheap 90's 1-800 Number" feel down perfectly. It reminds me a lot of that old hotline for that shitty drug PSA game Wally Bear that was up for 15 years and ran the same ghastly recording every time you called it. The way Freddy sounds so mumbled and incoherent under the low quality music and feedback really gives the idea that in some dusty old building, Faz and the gang are decayed and still running.
