Five Nights At Freddy's

That was probably the case in 2 at least since he was keeping the player up to date on events going on. In 1 they were probably made well in advance since he did the same shift as Mike just before him and left due to... permanent retirement. Especially seeing how in 1 he just talks about how to deal with the 'bots.
But why would the company leave those on the machine? Especially the one where he dies? It certainly isn't laziness, because they want to cover up the robots as best they can.

Well they might've been negligent and overlooked the messages. Keeping in mind that the security guard is the only one there on the night shift, it'd be easy to make some recordings in secret. Given how they completely overlooked someone hard enough for them to kill four or five children, they probably aren't very observant.

It may not be the company. Night 5 has that weird mechanical "call" (the one that has the "they will know the joy of creation" line) which is easily presumed to be the animatronics screwing with Mike. The previous nights all could have been the robots replaying a message recorded long ago and nobody would be the wiser.

Additionally, I was randomly reading the FNAF TVtropes page, and apparently there's a hidden clue to whatever was up with Mangle's radio static. Manipulating the static's audio file outside of the game reveals a broken but audible spoken code; "1-10," which the TVT page pointed out was police code for "Lost Connection" and thus implying Mangle's static was the result of a broken link to police radio channels (though if it was blocking the police from potentially knowing what was going on or if it was attempting to get the police as part of the whole "sexual predator detector" thing that makes all the robots become bloodthirsty bastards is unknown.) Either way, whatever Mangle was doing involved tech that was vaguely implied to have been retrofitted to the "for parts" original robots, meaning it's entirely possible the FNaF1 crew could easily tap into a ratty old phoneline and play back phone guy's messages.

I think earlier in the thread there was a pic shared of a Bluth-styled Fnaf crew, right?
The artist did another one

Either Springtrap is capable of taking forms of the other animatronics or the whole 'one animatronic' thing is just a buildup to Springtrap raising an endoskeleton army.

yeah, I was assuming the latter was going to be the case, especially when the troll game had the Puppet's files in it. You're trying to keep Spring Trap from rummaging through the parts bin and rebuilding the others- hell, it looks like he was rebuilding Freddy in the trailer, if you look at the ending.

Wonder if BB's gonna be aggressive now or still just a (usually fatal) nuisance? I can think of a lot of people who wouldn't want that screaming in their faces.

I find both options equally appealing. If the pic is any indication, the former actually seems more likley as "BB" has the same eyes as Springtrap from the trailer.

Or BB was in fact the murderer the whole fucking time to subvert the fact he's the only one not trying to kill you in 2

Another Scott Games image was uploaded but the moment I went back to fetch it, the site went down.

It was Foxy and Chica with the words 'It's all in your mind' or something.

Also apparently the demo is out. FNAF3 is likely to drop very soon.

EDIT:

Came here after watching Markiplier's video of 3. I'm liking the layout of it so far. It feels really different, which is good.

When the abomination (that's what I'm gonna call the animatronic for now) appeared in the doorway, I almost lost my shit. No loud musical cue. It's just staring at you, biding its time.

Same here. Things are very different. The setup for the story alone surprised the hell out of me.

I beat the game in 45 minutes (but not Night 6) and I have some things to say about it.

Personally I thought it was a mixed bag but the kind with many positives that's balanced with a single big negative. There's many things I loved from this one that I felt shouldn't be overlooked from the key flaw of the game.

I was later annoyed that Night 1 had absolutely nothing happen. It was only buildup to get you used to the new mechanics for Night 2 and onward. However I will confess that I was scared out of my wits expecting something. The charm of the game comes from how the gameplay is so different from the others that it leaves you unsure what to do and possibly freak out when Springtrap gets close.

By Night 5, I figured out how to easily beat the game (although it has a fair chance of failing). My strategy was bringing Springtrap to the very back room (CAM10, I think), close the vent connected to it and play the audio whenever he stepped into CAM9 to lure him back to CAM10. This is unlikely to work the whole night but you can keep him at bay long enough (unless you get a vent error and he decides to go to the left vent and slips through it 0.2 seconds before you shut it off, the fucker). That's the big flaw of this game. It's really easy if you know what causes the errors in your defenses and keep him corralled in the back. But I can't say I felt my money was wasted for a game I beat so quick. It was fun getting scared just from trying to get used to the game.

But I don't want to call the game disappointing .The game is goddamn terrifying. I love how the cameras are really hard to examine and how Springtrap has about two different poses in each camera which can catch you off guard if you think he stays in one place of the shot. The game's variety in methods to stop Springtrap as well as his strategies was really nice to see. Having to reboot the building always gave me the sense of dread, more than whenever I had to wind the box in FNAF2. The Phantom animatronics scared me bad. Phantom Mangle (I assume because of the body and the godawful noise it makes) made me scream out loud. The fact Springtrap and Phantom Freddy visibly moved around was fucking eerie. Springtrap's jumpscare I got used to quite quickly but I love how disgusting he looks.

As for the game's plot, it was odd to see how straightforward it was. I actually predicted the twist that the Purple Man was Springtrap (only because the Phone Guy's calls clued me in) but I was still surprised to see it play out. The game feels like the conclusion of the series but I'll have to beat Night 6 to see if there's even a hint of a FNAF4. Although I won't be surprised if Scott does make a FNAF4. This series is his tugboat. I'm glad that FNAF3 was quite different but it felt only half right (I didn't like it being so easy). It was just enough to keep the cashcow from falling into mediocrity. If he puts more time, money and love into another one, I'll likely still buy it. But one thing I want out of a FNAF4 is all of the animatronics being animated. Walking, crawling and not standing still to smile for the camera. Would make it a whole lot scarier if he dumps their 'Red Light, Green Light' routine.

Also after dying on Night 6 for the umpteenth time, I got a freeze image of Springtrap's mask off, showing Purple Man's horrifying corpse. I'm not going to sleep tonight.

I just bought FNAF3 and got into night 3. I noticed the cupcake in several cameras and noticed that if you click it, it disappears. So I started hunting it and after several clicks, I got to play an atari styled platformer where you play as Chica and take cupcakes to children. It didn't end in a jumpscare or anything, the night just restarted. Weird.

Hey, maybe that's an idea for if the night starts going udders up.:P

Still, I think Springtrap's jumpscare is a little weak, considering the previous game had Foxy lunging at you or Bonnie pretty much grabbing you in a chokehold. C'mon, get up close and personal!

Just watched Mark's video and I'm surprised at how different the game seems compared to the last two.I still don't have a clear idea of what's going on yet.

Still, very interesting and I look forward to seeing more.
