I'm neither a pedo nor a gaymer, so can someone tell me why pedos would have a group on Steam to begin with, that is apparently open to the public? As opposed to something like a discord?

Also, a lot of people are discussing whether or not Flam just blindly accepts invitations. Do you need to be invited to a group, or could Flam have requested to join it?

Also Steam is really gay. Call me a boomer - I am one - but what the fuck happened to just buying or downloading a game and just fucking playing it?

Lastly, someone should fire up a 5 hour stream to discuss whether or not we drop this info on his mom. What are we thinking chat? Chat, what are we thinking? Do we just, do we just ... call up Flam's mom and just ... just drop this info on her? Chat what are we thinking?

I can totally believe just blindly accepting invites and friends requests from randos because that’s 99% of my steam friends and groups. What raises suspicions is why some tiny noncegruppe on Steam adds a small time American streamer completely out of the blue. If they watch him they know he can't speak German, if he looks into them it risks exposing the whole group, it doesn't add up as just freak coincidence. Taking Flam's taste in weeb porn into account too and while not necessarily being a smoking gun Flam sure smells like gun smoke right now.

I searched how group invites look like, since people here said it shows you information about the groups.
Unless the way it is displayed has changed over time, it is just the picture + name, not very different than a friend invite. Flamenco is retarded and this is hilarious and absolutely makes him suspicious, but the invite itself isn't that obvious.
However the fact he doesn't have more random groups is still strange.

But why accept? I’ve been invited to plenty of strange groups over social media, and I just ignore them completely. It takes a physical act of accepting invitation. I have a strong feeling he knows these guys from a pedo discord and their steam group is just more networking and signaling for exposure to other pedophiles playing in steam. Memenco keeps bringing up “did you see any logs of the chat??” Which to me really makes it seem that this as a sort of induction/containment group for a deeper group. The way these illegal sharing groups work is in a lot of layers and vetting to keep it less tracable. The peds you see caught are usually the room temp IQ ones.
