Extremely Late, but uploading doesn't mean creating/uploading, instead its just seeding a torrent file. There's an up/down ratio, found on private trackers that E-Hentai uses for perks. If he did upload a google search for his username on the site would find some archive of the hentai he uploaded as the uploader name is presented in plain text. We would've found the file in the upload tab as well, which it wasn't there (if he cleared the uploads he would also clear the favorites, so he didn't do either).
The 3GB is extremely easy to get from a few torrents (probably 10 doujins or 2 Artist CG).

An uploader happens when you upload your own content to the site. Their is a specific option for that and it would be used to share new content or paywalled-content. Seeding happens automatically as you download files (you can have 2.0 seed-to-download ratio without even finishing a file) and some trackers will throttle you if they detect you throttling upload speed. He never made any content or shared something new, he was just someone in a torrent swarm. He most likely used it so he could access specific doujins offline or without loading issues before pages, something people without steady internet do. Considering he had a low amount of downloads, he might have switched to nhentai.net which has a site hosted seedbox or hitomi.la which you can directly download from the site. SadPanda (exhentai, the site he used) limits downloads/page counts per day, and torenting is a way to get past that (although the limit should never be hit unless you're on a big wifi spot like a university residency as you'd have to read 13 40-page Doujins in 24hrs to trigger it).
