I have noticed this as well and with streamers in other sekturs too. I don't get it either but parasocial relationships are strong. I guess losers like Flam I think attract an audience that's obviously losers themselves but they see Flam having "success" (such as it is) and it's one of their own made good, so the identification is strong ... and when they see Flam getting bullied it probably triggers memories of swirlies received in the high school bathroom.
