I honestly think he got in over his head. Ended up crumbling under pressure.
 
A part of me feels bad for him, because I know I would fare so much worse in his position. But I just can't get behind his pathetic lying, all that does it make things worse, if he just owned up to it people would've eventually forgotten about it instead of it turning into a keystone embarrassing moment for him online.
