Hard disagree. He is terrified of calling out or disagreeing with other ecelebs in the SEKTUR and in some cases, this is what has gotten him into this mess in the first place. Everyone gets accused of being a pedo, if we were going by "where there's smoke there's fire" rules, we'd have to crucify Null and by association, anyone who browses this site with how many times he's been accused of being one.
The key reason people were able to get it to stick with memenco specifically is because of how he keeps defending mrgirl and vito. He's terrified of losing their clout, he's even more terrified of losing Augie's good graces (why the hell does he put this much stock in what Augie thinks?) and Augie has ordained that these two are to be respected. Same with Stardust. Whether flam defends them on his own volition or out of fear of pissing off Augie and Stardust, I can't tell right now, finding out would require a control scenario where he has already had a falling out with those two.
Overall he'd have a lot to gain if he were much more offensive in what he covers and how he covers it. And actually got back to finding some vtuber shit to cover, but he can't be assed to keep some alt-boards on hand or even browse /vt/ from time to time. And he'd have nothing to lose. You think not fighting with Ralph is an option at this point? I highly doubt that one new account after the other coming out of the woodworks with something damning on flam that may or may not be real or substantial depending on the case, one or two weeks after the gunt fully fixed his eyes on flam specifically is a coincidence. He's going to continue to pull all the stops and instruct the Ralphamales to explore every potential avenue of fucking with flam no matter what until flam is either dead or in jail. And this is how it's going to go, no matter what flam does. Nothing he does will change that. He has nothing to gain from sanitizing his content or refusing to stir the pot.
Honestly this is the exact kind of abrasiveness he needs to lean into.
Orbiting the fucking commentary community and being too scared to step out of line is not a good strategy to youtube. If you want to 'grease yt palms', create an occasion for an interview or discussion with another youtuber or eceleb and prove that you can hold your spaghetti by conducting it without issue. But outside of that specifically, all the restraint and politicking is pointless. Flam's whole bread and butter is stirring the pot, walking on eggshells accomplishes nothing.
