What's really telling to me is that he sees there that he is having people pointed at his family's dox because people don't like his presence in chat. Yeah he could just lay low for a year or two like Kraut and Tea did and rebrand as someone else and pretend like his past didn't exist. Kraut was one of the most unlikeable faggots on the internet but because he moved into a different line of videos a lot of the audience doesn't seem to know who he was. I would say Pegmenco isn't even that famous and people would probably not realize who he is. Granted the only shred of fame he ever got was obsessing over the Gunt so I doubt he has the confidence to make content that stands on its own.
