FLAT DESIGN SUCKS DEATH TO FLAT DESIGN

First of all, punctuation, faggot. Use it, ffs.

Onto the point of the thread: This flat, minimalist slop design style legit makes me angry. And all the retarded california based tech corporations insist on using it. Nobody has any identity, all of them look the same. Basic shapes and colors, like toys made for babies, no shading, no textures. It's disgustingly uninspired soulless garbage.

Stock Winamp 2.x still has the best UI ever, and it still whips the llama's ass a quarter century later.

Oh, fuck yeah. Winamp 2.x was one of my best friends for many years before I finally made the full switch to Linux. I still have it installed on my Windows VMs.

On topic: Even though OP is a total penis, I agree with him on this subject. That flat look is an abomination. Literally progress moving backwards.

im not sure where to put this so i will put it here

CHROMES NEW UI SUCKS
it is the most ugly thing i have ever seen in my life the bars are so fat the new font looks like its made for blind children it looks like a toddler UI they ruined an alright looking browser i remember i thought it was just my eyes acting up intill i got the CHROME HAS UPDATED bullshit its so ugly im so glad i switched to brave the only perfect browser

It's almost an end of year 2024 and everything sucks even more. There is no need in AI developers for creating Torment Nexus, UI devs are more than enough for this

One of the reasons for the proliferation of this style is it's easier for your eyes to parse on small device screens, particularly smart phones. Just one more thing to blame on Apple introducing the iPhone in 2007.
