Can flaws be attractive? What makes a flaw acceptable and toxic respectively? When does being quirky become harmful?

Strong men who are also neat freaks. Go on, dragoon me into dusting the shelves and cleaning the bathroom, you're only going to get me worked up.

(Note: it would turn harmful if it veered into OCD, I guess, or if he made me do most of it without participating himself)

What's a "flaw" even supposed to be? They're a person, not a used car. There are only things that endear you to someone and things that don't.

Women (and gays) are into guys who remind them of their dads.
What else is new.

If you live in the jungle running from terrorists a psychopathic killing machine of a partner starts to look really attractive, but outside of said jungle and in a civilized country it would be terrible if you were to be stopped by the police for a damaged tail light.

A trait is only a flaw when it's an inconvenience.

You'd always have people attracted to flaws, either because they emphasize with the flaw or it itches some psychological need (Messiah complex is the easiest example). A person with no flaws will probably tick off your Uncanny Valley feel.
A flaw that is acceptable is one that doesn't hurt you or people around you, while toxic are ones that massively hurt you and others.
Being quirky becomes harmful when it becomes what constitutes as your personality, or you straight up acting retarded.

Also on the topic, being mature is either trying to overcome your flaws or recognizing them and trying to live despite them.

I guess more mundane flaws are a relief, and something you learn to appreciate once you get to know the person better. It could always be worse, and learning to deal with those flaws makes them less big deal.

If she's attracted to you, it's a flaw or a quirk.

If she thinks you are a creep, it's disfigurement or a mental illness.
