FLEEKAZOID

The man made this video in a rush, still put in great effort into the editing, AND managed to shit all over Veilguard in his trademark fashion, solid jokes and solid critique, all condensed and served in a rapid fire succession. The "just don't use it" part is probably the best short and sweet commentary on the topic I've ever heard. The Pimperor's energy is unstoppable.

The rush of the last video aside I really feel like Fleek has gone down hill. The last video of his I feel like I genuinely enjoyed was the Robocop one. I don't know how else to describe it other than that a lot of his initial energy and creativity feels like it is missing and that he has flanderized himself resulting in all his videos feeling samey as if he is obligated to do certain bits in each one.
To be honest though I don't know how much of that perception has been formed by watching a few of his life streams and seeing how boring and tryhard he is outside of his tightly edited content.

You're not wrong but it comes from that perception. E;R I would list as another example. His videos are highly edited with FBI crime statistics and the like but tune into one of his live streams and it's like he smoked a joint or something before.
It's just the nature of the format they choose to produce content in. Not everyone can rapid fire attention with a livestream.

Fleek's back with a unrushed version now.
Nice! Intro is peak as always.

"Fromsoft fans just click off the video already you wouldn't understand" as he flashes this for a frame. Son of a-Sony get your head out of your asses for 5 seconds to do something useful for once and order a port to PC already.
"Reuniting with THQ only to reach down her pants and grab a handful of Nord DICK" is probably my favorite line so far. On a side note, my other favorite content creator Sseth made a new video as well, best day of the week...man my life sucks.

Never played PoE, let alone 2, that intro goes hard. Is it worth playing either game?
I have issues with POE2, but if you're an "oldschool" gamer of the RPGCodex variety who misses the day of very slow, very methodical combat without any "unearned" spikes of dopamine delivery, then PoE2 seems to deliver - though this perspective may come from "bad" luck on my part insofar as I have a build good enough that my balls aren't getting severely busted, leaving me bored instead of frustrated enough to keep on struggling. Not my cup of tea at all as an enjoyer of the "zone out and grind, I'd be a slot machine addict if I didn't save myself by playing this shit" school of ARPGs like PoE1/Grim Dawn/Torchlight 2/Last Epoch, but apparently worthwhile to the audience it was tailored for based on other reviews.

First time watching Fleekazoid with this Veilguard video, and he references Ravandil's Quest. This is a man with good taste, at least in high-quality shitposts.

God I lurk there too often, but it's one of the few places that is actually interesting and shares many of my views on the interwebs other than here.

I think I get you, would you describe it as basically a slightly more "dopamine" filled version of the last game? Or does simply skip parts of the grinding to appeal to a larger audience while not shitting on their original audience?

More the opposite: grinding in PoE2 is still necessary, but you're grinding for much more "basic" stuff: no loot explosions, no speedy gameplay, a more methodical grind that severely punishes players for incautious behavior (or just lack of prescience) - which isn't to say PoE1 isn't full of punishment and RNG too, but PoE1 is fast-paced enough that if you get screwed over by incaution, RNG, or a combination thereof, you're down much less time.

Freakazoid sucked.
I thought it was alright, shame it got cancelled for low ratings.

Oh! Ok now I think I understand. Still, that $30 price tag for a sequel of a free game is...I mean I'm glad it's not "industry standard" $60 but for an Early Access game...maybe another time.

It tried way too hard to be funny and it was just flat like all the rest of those shows by the same writers. Animaniacs also sucked dick.

Now, Pinky & and the Brain? That was the shit and the outlier of all of those Spielberg-produced animated shows.

Yeah same, I'll just play it when it releases properly and all the beta-tested bugs get ironed out.

I'll forgive your take on Animaniacs because Pinky and the Brain blows it out the water.

Early Access really is just a scummier way to Alpha/Beta test.
