Him being formerly on benzos explains some of his weird mannerisms to me (shit he does with his eyes mentioned earlier for example), definitely cooked parts of his brain. 10 bars a day habit, crazy. He's absolutely right about how doctors want to taper of benzos too quickly, shit's one of the most addictive substances on earth and they mostly think you can get someone off in a month or two. Even FS nine month taper is too short for many benzo addicts.

Waiver: I didn't watch the FS vid.
Prescribers get zero training how to get your patients OFF any drug, let alone benzos. It's literally not really addressed for most pharmaceuticals anywhere in the literature.
The common approach is to total up a patient's total benzo equivalent daily dose of short-&-long acting benzos, then dividing up that total by 2-3x day dosing of only the long-acting form while eliminating the short-acting ones. The idea being that long-acting versions are better to avoid withdrawal symptoms and have less euphoric/depressant effects (and is on regimented dosing instead of " as needed" patient driven).
This still requires complete compliance from your patient however (moreso if you are leaving them with extra "in case of emergency" short-acting doses). In outpatient settings, you have no way to know if they're taking it as scheduled or are taking extra doses other than calling them in for pill counts or early renewal requests from the pharmacy.
This is on top of a mentally-ill anxious patient with likely poor impulse control and stoicism in the first place. Often with other comorbid psychiatric and addictions disorders. Who likely ended up on long-term benzos because they didn't respond to the safer and 1st line dogshit SSRI drugs in the first place.
So for a patient tapering long-term off benzos for chronic anxiety, as a presciber you don't have many (any?) pharmaceutical options to transition them to. SSRIs are all interchangeable and dogshit. There's old drugs like buspirone that no one knows how they work and are mostly for old men.
Then you have the rebranded antipsychotic drugs that get added on to SSRIs for mood disorders that also have questionable efficacy but their own horrific side effect profile - drug-induced Parkinsonism, diabetes, weight gain, cardiac arrhythmias, permanent facial tics, etc.

I interacted with him briefly on Twitter, and he absolutely did the whole "I TOTALLY OWNED THE CHUDS BY PRETENDING TO BE RETARDED" thing when I called him out on his power levels. That being said, he makes good content and points I can't argue with. I view him as kind of a Dr. Rand Paul of YouTube videos, where he's objectively on the "right side of history," but I would absolutely understand it if he got beaten into the dirt by his neighbor one day because he's such an insufferable douchebag.

If the failure of the reconstruction era and slavery really did have an averse effect on our nation he should notice our own South and the former land of the Confederates. They acknowledge the cocaine part but not the other prior aspects that altered their culture forever.
If we can acknowledge shit that changed white culture forever why can't people like flesh simulator acknowledge it with other races? I'll tell you why. The short answer to this question is that Fleshie is jewish. He might be secular/agnostic/atheist, but being jewish is racial and cultural, and he embraces that as an identity. I wonder if there's an equivalent for "Uncle Tom" in Jewish slang (a Jew who just doesn't care one bit about Israel, Zionism and doesn't prioritize his little tribe's interests).
There used to be a synagogue within walking distance from my place and it got destroyed in WWII. I used to be indifferent, but now I'm glad it's gone because I know that those people don't see me as equal, so I want to have as little to do with them as possible.
