It’s a very human response and not a clinical, sterile response like we get from so many other content creators who end up in shit like this.
I also finally caved and watched westsidetyler’s video on flesh and almost the entire video is just this.

I haven't followed the whole twitter thing at all, but that's pretty much the impression I got, too. I may not fully agree with the dude, but I can respect him for how heartfelt his content as a whole seems to be. Just a weird man with weird interests showing off cool stuff he's doing and what suspicious things he's been noticing lately.
The internet would be much better if we had more people willing to act like that, feels like a breath of fresh air.
 
Was flesh addicted to stimulants? Imagining him tweaking the hell out while going on deep dives into banned chemicals and CIA experiments seems pretty realistic

I saw a comment on one of his videos a while back that described it as the "System of a down left" and I think that's a pretty good point of comparison for what the left has lost. Flesh is channeling a little bit of that.

This recent incident proves that it's a more precarious position to be in than it used to be, though.

It's annoying that he's developed enough of a persona to the normie shitposters that he can't effectively respond to stupid shit without a dozen people in the replies typing variations of "DUR HURR U DO TEH DRUGGGGS!" And Flesh being Flesh, he feels obligated to try to spin something back at them and it's all just farts lost in a gas chamber.

I really don't understand the "YOU USED TO BE ADDICTED TO BENZO" stuff people keep bringing up. Like yeah he was a retard for abusing random RC benzos in the first place, but someone realizing they had a problem and actually doing something about it is not the "epic own" they seem to think it is. There are plenty of people who only admit they have a problem performatively and never actually take steps to rectify it, who are deserving of ridicule. Not so much the people that actually got their shit together.

I think the dumbest thing was when I was watching Tyler’s tripe and he was like “erm the benzos video was oversharing cringe” like dude the whole fucking point is TO SHARE HIS EXPERIENCE WITH DRUG ABUSE, so others can hear his story and if they are struggling, have yet another example of inspiration to kick the addiction. Flesh himself said in the vid, if even just one person quit benzos because of his vid, it would be entirely worth it in his eyes. Is there anything cornier than going “dude talking about past drug problems to try and inspire addicts to quit is cringe”? This dumbass concern trolling is so disingenuous but I wouldn’t be surprised if flesh’s a-logs were drug addicts themselves.

FS alludes to this tactic in a couple recent videos but there's a certain type of person who always opens with "Why do you care? It's weird to care about anything I don't approve of" like it's their own personal Pawn-to-e4. Tends to overlap with their main aspiration being "I'm going to be the Nick Mullen who doesn't say nigger."

He's right in pointing out the insufferability of such people. Any time someone responds like that I just want to hit them with "I'm going to give you something to care about in 5 seconds if you don't shut the hell up". The worst thing we've done as a society is give these people and their dogshit opinions any weight in the first place.

Maybe I'm MATI but he's an actual POS for that. He clearly doesn't actually think the video was oversharing or cringe. If anyone he liked made it, he wouldn't be saying that.
The video wasn't attention whoring or sympathy baiting, it was very practical and useful advice for getting through one of the most difficult and dangerous addictions to kick, from someone that was in deep. I don't wanna powerlevel but somebody very dear to me had a bout with benzo dependence, and I watched her go through hell. Benzo withdrawal is one of the few that can actually kill you. Not everyone can afford some fancy in patient detox/rehab, and his advice is, for the most part, a solid approach to doing it on your own. The video is a net positive, no matter what one thinks of Flesh Sim as a person.

There's no way he actually has a problem with the video or thinks its cringe. He's just mad at Flesh Sim for not sucking enough tranny cock, and an oppurtunistic vulture who saw an oppurtunity to ride the wave of retarded Hasan e-commies attacking FS.

I realize I'm glazing FS a lot, he's definitely a bit of an idiot for engaging with these retards at all, but when the people attacking him are literally the worst kinds of people, it paints him in a very sympathetic light,
