Flipper Zero

I bought one and cloned my friend's gate access key to his apartment so that I didn't have to sit there parked and wait for people to open the gate when they drove through any more because that shits annoying.
I haven't installed customer firmware yet, I've seen there's quite a few choices and read that its easy to switch. Any recommendations on which custom firmware route to go ?

Yeah, I'm using it. I'm a casual user, mostly I've cloned entry cards for my community clubhouse/pool, and when I get the chance I'll use it as a garage door opener. It's definitely the firmware with the most features.

Friend of mine purchased one, told me how hard it was to get one imported to the US or some crap. The more I read about it the more I realized it was just a really basic bitch SDR device marketed to people who watched the movie "Hackers" to many times. I had a client tell me "oh yeah, well if I had a flipper zero, I wouldn't need you or your equipment" He thought something cloned basic unencrypted RFID tags was magic, I told him I had a device I purchased for $8 that did the same thing.

Found a very practical use for it - cloning those "Toniebox" figurines for my nextdoor neighbor for when her kid inevitably loses the toy itself.

Getting the correct tags to write out TO is an absolute PITA but the ability is a parents dream come true. Not to mention you can pass around the scanned data to another parent (or just a cloned tag) if their sproggen has already lost theirs.

I'd say the things are a retarded recycling of cassette tapes in a prettier package...except you'll never have to worry about the player 'eating' the tape. Good God was that a nightmare when it happened. Sometimes newer IS better.

Kid wants me to clone her talking Thomas the tank engine figures, which recognize each other and 'talk back' within a foot or so when you hit the button. Haven't managed to find the frequency on them yet.

Yeah, I used it to clone a shit ton of Amiibos.

Way easier than using the figurines themselves or even trying to cycle though a bunch of cloned cards.

I'm curious what Momentum is going to look like tbh, wonder what all were the issues holding the Willy guy back? Guessing weird tranny shit from the vibe I got, but we shall know if the project gets off the ground.

Roguemaster and Extreme have a shitload of stuff that Unleashed doesn't; Unleashed is basically Vanilla+ while almost every other custom firmware has features ranging from "can potentially brick something if misused" to "can straight up get you arrested and in the news".
 
For some reason I can't edit my previous post, so I'll start this by apologizing for double posting.

Using the xtreme firmware, its super easy to get the marauder firmware onto the wifi dev board and it already had everything needed and set up to use it which was a nice surprise since i didn't do research into do it with xtreme firmware but just the stock one that had way way more hoops to jump through.
I'm still learning how to do stuff with it but I went ahead and added the SSID access point "sneed" to an internal list that I could use for the SSID "spam" function that it had then when I went to a coffee shop my friend owns (its a very social establishment more like a bar and lots of people talk unlike the quite pretentious coffee shops where everyone sits alone with macbooks) I left it on in my jacket pocket. It made me smirk hearing people say and ask the clerk "whats sneed? why are there so many sneed wifi".

I'm gonna keep doing it in public places until i hear some one randomly say "formally chucks" i think.
I did read up how to get the pcap and I'm gonna try that on my home network first then look up other cool wifi stuff.
