Those things always seemed pissed off as hell whenever i see videos of them being kept as pets

They're usually overweight too. Their diet consists mostly of birds in the wild. Fat floppa ain't catchin' nothin' but zzz's.

I hope Floppa has a good quality of life. As much as I'd like to have a big cat in theory, I feel in reality I'd feel bad

They need to settle for a Maine Coon. Is it just because its cheaper/less regulated to do so in Russia? Or just oligarch money doing as it does, probably a mix of both

Caracal generally weigh about as much as a Maine coon. Hell, there's Maine coons that are way bigger while not being overweight. The problem isn't their size, it's the fact that they're wild cats with very wild instincts.
