HUDSON — A 47-year-old man attacked another man and a woman with a ninja sword after accusing them of stealing his socks, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
Brandon Donald McCray, 47, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and faces charges of attempted murder and aggravated domestic battery with a deadly weapon.
Deputies said McCray accused several guests and residents of his home of stealing his socks and started threatening them. He then left the home and returned with a ninja sword, according to an arrest report.
McCray sliced the woman’s leg and then swung at the man’s throat, attempting to kill or seriously injure him, deputies said. The arrest report said the man’s hands and arms were injured in an ensuing altercation.
McCray was being held Wednesday in the Pasco County jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.
