Honestly, This thread has given me quite a bit to think about in regards to internet social behavior.

I discovered fluffy pony on /b/ about a year and a half ago. My reaction to it was very similar to many of yours: "What in pluperfect hell am I looking at?" After the initial shock settled in I took to the general themes behind it, and was oddly enough inspired to draw again for the first time since highschool. After a while I decided to explore what I would do in one of the many situations that many authors would write about, this would turn into a 15 chapter long unreadable pile of tropes spewing shit, that while I am impressed with myself for riding that strange torpedo to the end, I will never take credit for if some one were to bring it to me in real life.
