To give this question a serious answer, context plays a big part in why this bothers me so much. I'm okay with violence, I'm okay with cute, cuddly things, but violence towards cute, cuddly things really bothers. Also, this is a show aimed at kids, and the fact that people don't go out of their way to lock this shit somehow is pretty fucked up. I'd be pretty traumatized if I saw any of this shit as a six-year-old, aka the target audience for MLP.

Firstly I'm going to defend video games here by saying baseless violence is actually somewhat uncommon in good games. About 90% of the time in a game, if you are attacking something then it has the ability to harm you and is not defenceless - in fact, good games will whether actively or insidiously punish a player for attacking a defenceless creature (who else got their ass reamed after killing Priscilla in Dark Souls?). I don't know what games you are playing but I highly doubt that they are on the mature end of the spectrum or are somehow satirical - I'm looking at you Postal.

Secondly and I talked about this before but it is worth restating as this is exactly why people care about these acts upon fictional characters - the real horror of the Fluffie following is the origin and intent of the original characters. MLP is an analogue to young, perhaps teen or even younger people. Their target audience is young girls so they are developed demographically to be similar; when you add the facet of 'retardedness' to such a character, you are beginning to take away some of the other important elements to a character - onesuch being the potential for informed consent (there is no case in Fluffie porn, wether actively agreeing to a sexual act or not, that has not been rape), or the ability to seek help for such abuse.

Like many of the questionable sexual deviancies, I see power as being the root to which people making this material desire. By completely removing the ability for a creature to fight back, it is a display of a want for unrestrained control over another. And that is a deeply disturbing element when it is coupled with violence. Aggressive responses towards cute things are actually very common and documented; but the unbridled want to act out on them shows an incredibly immature psyche and possibly a dangerous one if such fantasies, especially of the sexual kind, go unchecked.

At one point a few years ago I joined some offbeat steam groups while trolling. One of them was a "Slob RP" group. Slob porn is basically the same as fluffy porn but without the focus on ponies. I haven't read this thread in a while so if this has been mentioned already I apologize. Anyway, the slob people started messaging me to RP with them. The RP's I got were some of the weirdest shit. Like, their focus is on retarded people (similar to fluffies), and all they wanted to RP was stuff like "I'm a retarded girl and I'm digging my finger into my butthole. Now I'm licking my finger". I had joined the group to troll them, but this shit was so weird that I couldn't really do it. The things they legitimately wanted to talk about were more fucked up than the things I had been planning on saying to troll them. One person wanted to do a Splatoon RP (this was shortly after it had been announced, long before launch). They wanted to RP as a mentally handicapped squidgirl with dead lifeless eyes who smelled of something rotting at the bottom of the deep sea. Like we're talking some kind of Lovecraftian elder god retard sex RP. To this day I think it's the strangest shit I've ever encountered.

Anyway so fluffies aren't the only thing like this. There's a lot of tangentially related fetishes and fetish artists that cater to this stuff. What gets me is I know people will just come up with worse, weirder shit than fluffies in the future. Internet's weird, man.
