Formula 1 Discussion - And favourite driver?

hopefully ricciardo manages to get a position somewhere public when he retires, the guy exudes fun and energy.
Ricciardo will have no problem picking up media work.

If he doesn't end up being an F1 commentator or pundit with someone like Sky, he could easily get any media job he wants in Australia. Normies down here eat retired sportsmen up with a spoon, and one with the charisma of Ricciardo could do pretty much anything from sports reporter to breakfast radio host.

These commentators are sucking off Bearman so hard that Hamilton is getting jealous.
I'm conflicted on Bearman. On the one-hand he's an Essex boy - a home-grown talent - so I feel that I should get behind him.

On the other hand the only redeeming facet of the vigorous ball-washing from the Sky commentary team was that it effectively cast Hamilton as the spurned girlfriend in the distracted boyfriend meme. It does young drivers no favours when they are measured up to ridiculous expectations like getting pole on their first race mere hours after they knew they were going to be in the driver's seat. Bearman, assuming he enters F1, might slot right in, or he might be like Massa was in the early days - really quick but all over the place. Or he could be LeClerc who looked like he was going to play Prost to Verstappen's Senna, but has never lived up to that promise.

Bearman does know how to sling a car, the thing we need to look at during this weekend is his adaptability and pressure tolerance. All he needs to do is to keep his nose clean and finish the race without looking like he doesn't belong there.

And Stroll is in the wall.

Why are the Saudi's allowed to call this dangerous purpose built track a "street track"? Road America, Watkins Glen, and every other "unsafe" American track are all far closer to Grade 1 than whatever this track is.

Saudis have a thing the Glen doesn't have. Money.
