the mclaren car is very easy on the tires which is a huge part of why theyve dominated most races this season. fucking alpine has a better car than max, + im pretty sure he went into the race with a high downforce setup expecting a wet race so the red flag and 1 hr wait for a dry track also fucked him

At this point they may as well bin the full wets, the stewards are too cucked to even consider letting them be used.
The tv coverage is abysmal, how did F1 have the most amazing coverage and graphics back in the early 00's to devolve into this incompetent shitshow? During the sprint the 3 leaders were all nose to tail and Max had a bobble going into the Bus stop. Did the cameras ever show all 3 or even let alone Max entering said corner? Nope. On the rare occasion they did show it, the camera was so zoomed in I could only see about 1/3 of whatever car they decided to show. Not enough live shots of the hurried stops when the entire field went from inters to slicks, and no coverage of the leaders being blueballed by the few backmarkers they caught, that did affect each of them by a few tenths.
Glad my guys went 1-2, but I can see why the total viewer numbers are half what they were when Bernie ran the show.

yeah its frustrating the tires arent even the problem but rather the absolute state of the fucking car regs introduces all these dumb problems one or more of which usually end up ruining the race. massive car size makes overtaking hard, lack of "natural" overtaking and battling gave us drs which is a gay crutch, battery management can create gaps in pace that are largely not a result of driver skill, slipstreaming which previously was the drs that god gave us is now risky over a longer chase because the cars create much more dirty air which affects the chasing car which among other things fucks up their tires. the tires are a chapter for themselves, the massive fucking faggots at pirelli have convinced the fia that somehow medium tires lasting less than a third of the race and enforced compound switching by rules somehow makes for super exciting racing or some bullshit when really its just a con to sell more tires because the teams are forced to go thru them like napkins at kfc. then the faggots at fia have the gall to gimp the engines and finger themselves fantasizing about muh lower carbon footprint while the cars are literally designed to burn as much fucking rubber as possible and the calendar and logistics keep becoming more and more retarded every year.

wet tires used to have a purpose but now the fucking cars produce so much water spray in the back that you genuinely cannot use them because by the point the track is wet enough to warrant wet tires visibility is at fucking zero and if a crash happens 99% of the time its gonna be cuz the drivers literally couldnt see each other rather than insufficient tires for the conditions
