Formula 1 Discussion - And favourite driver?

It's crazy that those nutty folks who support hamilton spent like three years going on about how max "break tested" Lewis in 21. Just to turn around and shit on geroge when he self punts due to a sudden unexpected deceleration.

They aren't even hiding it anymore. No doubt the worst fandom in sports. I thought it was kinda funny george yelling for a redflag, but at the same time I can understand why he was rightfully freaking the fuck out. The onboard it's very clear he had no fucking idea alonso was gonna pull that move and we've all seen alonso pull that move before to the same result. Then he ends up back in the middle of the track in one of the more blinded and quicker sections and even hours later after a 20 second penalty and various on boards and replays that show he was fucked and there was nothing he could do besides overreact or steer straight in Fernando. They still gonna sit here and talk all this shit. Singapore I'll give you. Imola with bottas as well. Definitely times he overdrove and out did himself but for fucks sake this one time you'd think they'd support the dude regardless of their weird infatuation with Lewis. It's still fun to pile on geroge but today clearly wasn't his fault.

I know it's cope and shit and they don't wanna admit he's all but washed the least checking out for a year before you jump into a brand new car and team probably not a good idea. But like it's alonso. It's like the meme with the two buttons and the guys sweating. I'd absolutely hate being a Hamilton fan.

On the topic of shitters who Fandoms will not be missed when they leave. The tide turning on Riccardo is great to see. I don't think Yuki is the guy but for fucks sake neither in daniel.

Hard to feel bad for max but I feel bad for max. *insert my excuses for my insane infatuation/dick riding of AMX here* I just enjoy not watching him win. Even when I don't see him all race there's a certain serenity I get from seeing ver at the top knowing he's out there just driving round fast as fuck. At least he got into the iracing quicker. Glad it was just the breaks tho. That's a relief. Buisness as usual moving forward.

Ferrari really fucked up here. I mean are all those tshirt sales really worth ditching a guy whose clearly become your most reliable driver. Charles is still fast as fuck but it's nearing the point where he isn't even that much more faster than the others. Not that that shit even matters, worst pole to victory ratio ever. I just don't see it for ferrari with Chuck and Hamilton together. Seems like a disaster while the one dude who seems the most competent at this point in the threes respective careers is leaving for two dudes are are all but a gamble at this point. Hamilton is old he's clearly lost the drive and while I don't doubt he could perform well in the ferrari. Checking out for a fucking year before you switch to an entirely different beast of a car and Fandom and team seems like a really shitty idea. Maybe he thinks he can pull a Fernando off but I just don't see it working out. I don't think the two are cut from the same cloth. I don't think Lewis has the passion for racing anymore, not enough to practically reinvent himself at ferrari. It's a great pr move but I think this will be a stain on the shamilton legacy.

Haas bros hell yea. Same for the McLaren folk. Stoked for Lando but I'd rather see Oscar up there. Australia or not it'd getting harder and harder to not route for Oscar. Dudes awesome.

Fernando still the best. Love it or hate it. Respect it or despise it. He has the best race iq of maybe anyone in the sport past/present. He knew that move would work and did it. And as dirty as it is. It's so fucking perfect. The two times it's worked its just mindblowing how he's like ima fuck this dudes race up and than he does. I wish they had a camera where I could see the shit eat grin on his face as he drives away.

Fun race actually surprisingly.

The second hamilton/Riccardo/perez leave the sport the better. The way the mainstream tide is turning on hamilton and Riccardo is great. Don't really mind checo this year but the Mexican media may be as shit as the bongs and the quicker that's gone the better.

It feels like the sport is somehow healing itself. Like I think we still got a few more seasons of dts coming but it's gonna fall flat on its face as Riccardo and hamilton lose their appeal. Between that and no Gunther and some of the most boring racing ever hopefully they gonna drop that show within the next few years.

Daniel has definitely shown his McLaren down turn wasn't a fluke. He's getting wrecked by Yuki. He's more likely to lose his seat to Lawson than he is to take Perez's at this point.

As the meme says

I really like Ricciardo as a personality, which makes the enduring pratfall that has been his F1 career painful to watch. What the man gained in teeth, he lost in decision-making ability. He would be much happier and more respected as a driver in another series, but the clock's ticking.

Re Alonso, it is heartening to see pantomime villain-tier bastardry still afoot in this neutered era of the sport. I imagine the punishment was informed by the severity of the accident, which could have easily been more serious. If I was Russell then I would be kicking myself for falling for it. It's on a par with stumbling into one of the traps in Scooby Doo and ending up dangling from the ceiling in a big net.

- Max catches on fire and retires
- Hambone blows up and Osama jihads it into the wall for Total Merc Death
- Sainz beats Chuck LeSneed
- Aston double points, even the window licker managed to score

Just the fact that these things happened make it the Race of the Year for me, even if it was just as boring as your typical Maxwinslol for the most part.

Penalty on Alonso was some absolute BS though. From the replay, it clearly shows George just got loose in the downdraft and binned it. I'm convinced it's because Toto whined about it.

Is it just me, or is there a little too much attention on Yuki Tsunoda lately? He hasn't been doing anything that impressive and I think it's more of a testament to how much Danny has fallen off that any talent on Yuki's part. Lawson needs that seat ASAP.

if he were alive today, I'm afraid he'd most likely bitch and moan about the modern standards. And if he were to become a commentator, he'd just back-and-forth with Galvão Bueno or Sergio Maurício about dem good ol' days while mostly ignoring the on-track action.
If Senna were alive today, I suspect we'd see more Brazilian drivers on the F1 grid as a result of him setting up an academy and scholarships for talented young Brazilian drivers who can't afford to buy their way into F1. He'd be doing this on top of a shitload of other charity work that nobody would know about until after he died.

IMO he also would be less revered than he currently is. After all, we'd get to see his decline into mediocrity to the end of his career when guys like Villeneuve would show up from pre-split CART to give the rest of the world a taste of the finest Franco-Canadian sportsmanship since Rocket Richard.

They decided to blame Alonso, and hand him 20 seconds in lieu of a drive through, for Russell doing his tryhard bin it at the end again. Even though they didnt have any data to show it wasn't a legitimate defence.

Such utter bullshit that I hope Aston can successfully appeal it and then take a copy of the appeal outcome and sove it up every steward involved in this retard decision's ass.

You can literally drive another car off the track or smack them into a wall and get 5 seconds, but lift off early to get a better exit when being chased down by a car with DRS is apparently a drive through.
His fucking tires were worn the fuck out, and he was trying to get across the line.

Fucking faggot stewards

Must Be The White Half

Lewis Hamilton is practically John Wick says the guy who taught John Wick every thing he knows about the wickness I guess.

What length won't they go to jerk off this dudes ego?
Bro got no flinch, I'll give him that. Reeves on the range also shows that, so whatever snake oil TT has I guess it works.

Recoil management doesn't... look great? Enh.

Also the guy being interviewed is kind of a lolcow. Though most of his detractors are even bigger lolcows.

Just like in Speed, but in a literal sense and also the fact that he's not stopping a literal uncontrollable bus that's been hijacked

I’m surprised that ultra-woke Lewis is hanging out with someone as “misogynistic” as Taran. I’ve never seen that fatass without some gunbunnies following him around and there have been several serious allegations over the years related to his behavior with them.

This is an incredibly good point. If you're gunbunnying hard enough that other people at SHOT Show are calling you out, it's impressive.

Interesting he filmed himself with Taran at the range. He got introduced for being filmed using an AR15 like 2 or 3 years ago and had to apologize.

Or is this the same incident?

Well we've seen plenty of drivers entirely fail theor way out of F1 and into formula e so why not manufacturers...

Formula E is also about 8 times cheaper than F1 because the only truly expensive development bit is the powertrain. Spec chassis, road tires, only races in like 10 locations across the world and the local governments pay half the bills because they want to show off how enviromentally conscious they are.

Oh great. Yamaha and Lola. What could possibly go wrong? Yamaha had imho only 1 good season in F1 and that was 1994 when they had help from Judd to soup up their engine and Tyrell build a decdent enough car. Too bad they also had Katayama for a driver. The Japanese Maldonado
