We've seen highly skilled rally drivers attempt the transition to F1 before. Hasn't gone well. Turns out that people who spend their entire lives doing loose surface driving don't actually compare very well to people who have spent their entire lives doing circuit racing, when it comes to circuit racing.

On the plus side more decent streams and torrents since they're forcing more people to stop being paying customers.
 
Another timing fuck up by multiple teams. Going out too late to get a lap in.

I mean rather they make the gaps in the pits than what we've seen previously but it opens up an obvious ploy of get your car to the front of the queue and take so long getting going that no one can get another lap in.

I wonder if ferrari are being gun shy with the set ups given they got Leclerc disqualified in 2023 here for excessive plank wear.

MBS has been confirmed as FIA president for another term after his last remaining rival has dropped out.

You need to have the support of at least one delegate from each region. Bernie Eccleston's wife is the only South American delegate and has already supported MBS so no one else can actually run.

Nothing dodgy with any of that process.

I really don't get why various sports entities keep doing this. MLS in the states had set attendance and viewing records up to them signing an exclusive deal with Apple.

While the league made money, the bottom has fallen out for attendance for most of the teams and viewing rates are bottoming out.

It's gotten so bad that the USL, which is supposed to be the second tier league in the USA, is launching a new top tier league in 2027, specifically offering relegation and the ability to actually watch the fucking games without an exclusion streaming service. The tv deal is so bad for MLS, they now have to face new competition for viewers.
