Lance? Women? well.. stranger things have happened. If it's a current, its Hamilton or Kimi, if it's former its probably one of the old russian drivers. I've heard rumours that Kimi was involved in a street crash/incident in one of the gulf states and he had a hooker in the car, but it was covered up. It's more likely to be some engineer or team staff and the 'F1 driver' is just for clicks, idk.
My buddy is convinced it's Lance and that he's like Patrick Bateman behind the scenes where all the prostitutes are afraid of him. All I know is it's not Norris. They didn't say anything about a gigolo.

I thought I put this on as background noise but I got so mad while listening to this massive faggot that I have to share my frustration.
If there was any real "journalism" left in this world, he would've been torn to shreds by the interviewers. But it is the fucking Race, so they suckle on the tits of their master with the "yeah we can see where you are coming from".
They try asking the "hard" questions, but the boss/employee dynamic makes it impossible to stick the penis of truth is his motherfucking mouth and make him choke on it.
Everyone involved should consider necking themselves. Suits and yes-sayers ruined the sport. I just want to see the best racists go fast in circles with highly advanced machinery.
I'm mad now, please watch it (with adblock) and become mad as well so I'm not alone seething, thank you.

Looks like RBR is testing their own version of the rolling wing

Let's just keep a bird from flying unless it's in our gilded cage.

The current regs suck, two races have been canceled and your most popular driver is doing exactly the thing that keeps him from being bored (and he seems like the kind of person you don't want being bored).

Oh, but he could die? Or get injured? Well, congratulations, that could happen in F1. Remember Silverstone 2021?

This is by far the dumbest thing I've heard coming out of racing media this year, and I'm a Williams fan.

Honestly all true racers deep down no matter how high or low their series is knows death is always a possibility so that's a stupid excuse. Even remove death, they know a bad slam into the wall can give career ending injuries so I'm of the feeling just let the man race as if he isn't allowed to, he's going to just tell F1 to go fuck itself.

He should do what Kimi did at Ferrari when they told him he cannot do his snow mobile racing.
Tell them "ok", do it anyways, have a horrific accident, return with a shattered wrist, and just laugh about it. God I miss cool racing drivers in F1.

And they're not going to tell him that.

F1 wants to act like they're bigger than Max and flex accordingly (I'm not saying Montoya is a rep, but the sentimentis the same). Maybe they are. But Max has the unique position of being able to flex right back.

Just after NLS2 and before his team took the DSQ, he was practically beaming. That smile said a whole lot more about this situation than all of the discussions and meetings and rule changes ever could.

The best thing F1 can do is to let Max be happy and bring the happy back to F1 with him.

As much as I adore JPM, I think he's been too long out of the seat to understand that feeling as a true racer should want to do as many series as possible. In fact it's almost hypocritical given Montoya did F1, Indycar, and NASCAR and I considered one of the more complete drivers even if he was crash prone.

F1's regs come from the ESG world, where they need all those sponsors, and those sponsors have governmental reasons for following through. That's why they're bothering with this hybrid engine nonce-sense in the first place. I think it also explains why FIA doesn't care about fan opinions.

Stefano telling us we're "getting too engineer" is basically saying that they only want dumb fans, and investment partners

The interview was very revealing though. Who cares about technical aspects of racing, if the cars are doing overtakes and you can build a highlight reel, right? Who cares about the manufacturers driving everything when you have that ESG money? No of course we aren't going to have V10s or whatever fans miss, because they're not the ones putting hundreds of millions in our pockets. As long as there are sold out crowds of people, and millions in ESG revenue, who cares about you nerds?

The FIA is not some 2-employee outlet developing an indie game or writing a blog
I doubt that ESG money by itself is that significant
In 2024 it had an annual operating income of 182 million euros

... you can just look at their activity reports to see their financials
The angle of attack comes from the EU in this regard. Before the coof and imported biomass, the biggest issue the EU was worried about was climate change and they were very much serious about taking every possible angle to promote ecological life. One of those propaganda angles was mandating hybrid and electric vehicles into the sport in order to get the public to see these things as something to aspire rather than something to begrungingly buy after everything else was made illegal. It's also the biggest reason why companies like Tesla made much bank in the eurozone because the system actively subsidized any electric cars they could.

BYD has confirmed it is in active talks about entering Formula 1, with vice president Stella Li revealing the company has met with F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali and is exploring three potential routes: forming a works team, supplying power units, or joining as a commercial partner. However, BYD isn't alone in chasing the grid's final 12th slot; Dutch outfit Van Amersfoort Racing, led by former F1 team principal Otmar Szafnauer, is also pursuing an entry. Both parties are waiting for F1 to formally open the application process, setting up what promises to be a competitive battle for the last spot on the grid.

Trying to ban Verstappen, Stroll, or anyone else from racing in other series would be absurd. Current F1 just needs to add speed boosts and pod racing noises and it'll be Formula E. That's not even to say I think Formula E sucks or anything---but this push for eco-friendliness in F1 will absolutely hinder engineering innovation as priority shifts to power management and energy efficiency. Then where is the distinction in identity?

At least GT3 is still fun, lets Max branch out, and helps him invest in a future in motorsport outside of driving for F1. I could see him finding a good deal of success with Verstappen Racing, and I think that's the play. He's a dad now, after all, even if he still wants to drive; he's gotta think about the future,

I think as far as the prostitution ring goes, Tsunoda would be the hilarious answer. It's probably Stroll or something, though, or maybe someone else with connections to F1 hotshots mentioned in the Epstein files. Maybe Alonso? Flavio Briatore likes him after all.

tried to watch the f1 movie and its the same fucking movie as the stallone one in indy cart but even more retarded. i stopped watching

Grand Prix is still the best racing movie ever made and I think the "mellowdrama " was important because the movie captured the reality of racing drivers of the 60s. I wished we had an honest film like that again

once companies that exclusively manufacture electroshit start joining the sport its all fucking ogre. especially if they have china pulling the strings and give them the ability to put pressure on the fia to make the cars 100% electric because its more road relevant or whatever bullshit. i hope this never happens but more insane shit has happened
