Red Bull did what they do best and built a Vertappen car and not bothered with this two drivers bullshit, I can see the memes with "come join us Isack"ok verstappen is back
hadjar p9, yo wtf
Either that or Verstappen has finally found the way to drive this generation of cars. Also: Antonelli's first 3 poles are all in a row. Like Senna and Schumacher. Sooo, this year's champion is Antonelli?
You get the boost (or as Leclerc calls it "Mario Kart mushroom") for an entire lap not at selected places. So it is at least more powerful then the old DRS. But you also have to husband your energy so it can be a double-edged sword. The drivers still learn how to manage it. Though in the Sprint Verstappen overtook Hamilton when Hamilton had overused his tyres. And Hamilton is again the slower of the two Ferrari. If this trend keeps going I can see Ferrari shitcan Hamilton (or perhaps relegate him to the WEC program) at the end of the season and bring in Bearman.Hamilton had an early overtake on Verstappen that made me think Max was breaking down. The speed differential coming out of the corner was insane. I can't recall if it was LeClerc or Hamilton that mentioned sometimes they get unintentional overtakes due to battery strategy. I wonder if that was the case or the boost/overtake systems are just that much more powerful. It makes DRS look insignificant by comparison.

And Merc being dominant? I am not so sure. This isn't 2014-2016. Let's wait until Mercedes has their upgrades and then we might get a better picture.
The simple answer to this question is no.Well at least Hamilton can be somewhat on the pointy end of the grid though Ferrari is looking for someone younger to hopefully groom into a winner/champion. Has Hamilton been worth the cash that Ferrari spent on him is the ultimate question?
Points to Max for getting that much out of the car while still noting there are issues with downshifting and keeping the rear axle on the ground. Three more weeks and maybe podiums could be possible.Either that or Verstappen has finally found the way to drive this generation of cars. Also: Antonelli's first 3 poles are all in a row. Really beggars belief that this isn’t happening in 2026. This gamble fucking sucked and they never should have done it. Why did they pull this year’s regs out of their ass when this was always an option?Engine proposal for 2031 rules is turbo hybrid v8 on fully sustainable fuel with much less power coming from the electrical components. Let's hope they don't all cuck on it.

Hell, Cup has 'wet weather' oval tires now so they can open the track sooner after rain.I know it's hard to see anything in the rain with the way the cars are designed but it's funny when people used to post this pic back in the day to poke fun at nascar and now F1 pretty much does the same thing.
