@The Lawgiver I forgot to answer your question about the best way to finishing the pass.. Best thing to do is do your quests and the daily discovery task and to just log in everyday to get supercharged XP which will get you to the next level up quicker. Just pick a dumb game to play, tycoons are pretty passive if you have time, if not prop hunt and parkour courses are the best bet. I like boss battles because you can just kill mobs over and over for XP, but Fortnite will slow and eventually cap your daily earnings on xp. If you still can't be bothered, look up "High School Role Play" disconnect from voice chat and just afk as a student role, checking on it every so often to move your character to prevent hard anti afk.

This season sucks for me, so I figured out the best way to finish my pass without having to actually play Battle Royal.

They've added the Cybertruck to Fortnite. It's going to be a reward (free) because know one would should actually buy it.

Best part of all?

IT STILL USES GAS

EDIT: I am apparently, wrong.

Then riddle me this Batman, how the FUCK does Nitro (an additive) work on a goddamn ELECTRIC MOTOR. Does it make the electric particles giddy and they work harder?

Someone asked this question and the answers are not surprising.

(Didn't mean to upload cause i wasn't finished)
Epic has accidentally released the fan favorite and chapter 1 exclusive skin known as "Paradigm"
The community response were surprisingly positive on this mistake, there were a small group of people who were upset cause the skin they bought back then is no longer exclusive.
within 1 hour of item shop reset, epic realized their mistake and removed the skin from the item shop, not before making this post saying people who bought it will be refunded and the skin removed within a week.

Epic realized the community response and by divine intervention, they've decided to let the community have their way and decided to let them keep the skin but not only that, they'll also get a free refund, basically they just got a very rare skin for free. Those who bought it during chapter 1 will get a exclusive style for it and the option to refund theirs.

So the mini-event for this season was MegaLo Don blowing up a boss location and revealing... another treasure chest. Whomp whomp.

Its been a fun season, overall. I love movement items and effects, and this season's emphasis on cars and speed was a lot of fun.

Edit: forgot to mention, they added three new DBZ skins and they actually look good. Androids 17 & 18 and Future Trunks. Himiko Toga is still the high water mark in Fortnite anime skins, but these new ones aren't nearly as god awful as OG Goku and Vegeta.

Once again I slept through the event i guess. Also apperently didn't finish the pirate thing in time that's gone too. the last days have been just a blur to me and every time something happens in this game lately i wither miss it due ot shit being too grindy now or I miss it due to some external shit or my body literally giving the fuck up on me. Not a good year for me overall honestly but at least there's been some neat stuff. Don't like how plot stuff is now tied to easily missable "mini events" instead of gradual map changes and event cutscene shit. Somehow a worse thing than the big events being tied behind a timer and user limit they were doing before.

Many huge reveals at the Disney event that took place late last night:

On top of this, many other miscellaneous Disney IP's will be slowly rolling into the game:

Some looks at the Star Wars x Mandalorian skins coming:

There's some other items I'm omitting here as I don't want to make this post too long, but there's a couple folks on Twitter who regularly post leaks and upcoming Fortnite content if that tickles your fancy at all. ShiinaBR is one of the most prominent newsposters, and there's a few others.

Either way I think the Marvel stuff will be a refreshing getaway from this current season, which has easily been the worst I've played (and I've played Fortnite since day one). There have been several articles online showing huge playercount drops this current season and this current chapter overall due to shitty its been. I basically only play Reload and Fortnite Festival at the moment because I can't stand BR in it's current state.

So I only really begun playing when "No Build" was introduced and this has byfar been the most dire chapter I've experienced as of yet (prior to this, I hated Wilds from last year) and I frankly cannot wait for it to be gone come tomorrow. Magneto's gauntlets dealing splash damage was the moment I just gave up and hid in Festival and LEGO to wrap up the Battle Pass. Oh and apparently some Latino is the new festival pass? Never heard of this woman but her model is vastly more flattering than her actual appearance.

Apologises for the double post, but I figured I should promote all the free items ongoing as of right now:

If you play via Smartphone (Android is region free, iOS is EU locked) or exploit a minor glitc;, you can do basic XP quests to obtain the Katalina skin to celebrate the return to Apple storefronts. This skin is estimated to sell later at a price between 1600 to 2100 V-Bucks at a later date. Whereas if you play Fall Guys for five matches, you get the wireframe bean skin and the Fall Guy Hammer as a pickaxe. You can also obtain the Diestro (Gold Frame variation) by merely downloading Rocket League Sideswipe and playing the tutorial. This car normally costs 1,500 V-Bucks and it comes with all the decals too. Frankly a great beginners kit if you are new to the game.

Subject of Smartphones, if you've played Fortnite ONCE at some point on a Samsung device between Dec. 3, 2022 to Aug. 16, 2024, you can earn the Space-Touched Serenity Set. It appears some wording here isn't clear as it implies if you play on a Samsung device before Sep 15th, you can still obtain it? This skin will come to stores right after the grant period.

If you are ensure what else is free or curious as to what you can currently obtain; Fortnite GG has a new tab to track such quests/items: https://fortnite.gg/free-cosmetics

Has anyone been able to spoof any android emulator to get these skins?

Thoughts on the new season? I'm enjoying it a lot more than last season, I like what they did with the map. The colors of the nature and such are digging back into classic Fortnite roots. The game was starting to lean into bland ugly colors too much, basically becoming New Vegas-ified.

My only real complaints are the jetpacks making people too hard to hit, but this has been an issue with all movement items since Chapter 5's release. Needing omnipotent godlike aim to not only keep my reticle on the guy flying around lightning fast with the jetpack but also to account for the dogshit bullet speed and bullet drop isn't a good enough counter to make these items feel fair. This issue will sadly persist until guns are made hitscan again.

There are some completely broken weapons right now, but it's fun. Last season was Mad Max, and it basically didn't feel like a shooter anymore. I played it for like 4 days.

I really can't wait for them to get rid of this map. Chapter 4 was a lot better. It was colorful and had a variety of biomes and verticality. OG Season was obviously a lot of fun as well. From its release this entire chapter felt like it was aping Arma 3, which it's been moving away from, but I'm really just sick of this map in its entirety. I only play with my roommate, and I used to shit talk this game a lot, but I can't knock it entirely. It's just a lot of fun with friends.

The unfortunate part of the current map is that all the verticality is on the edges. Unless you land at Mount Olympus, you will probably never end up going there during a match.

I really thought the Italian countryside theme to this map was beautiful back in season 1. Its a shame most of that area was replaced by random shit.

The Italian countryside got boring for me. I liked the mixed biomes of other maps, or at least the cartoonish fun. This chapter is just blatant fucking media placements and aborted arcs in the Greek Gods.

Now it's a weird mishmash of hideous red desert, Italian fields, icy cliffs, and the awful Hades and Elyssian zones. No thanks, I'm all full.

I'm enjoying this season more, but I could really use a change of pace.

Meanwhile the only fucking stuff left from chapter launch are Ruined Reels, which is an awful shooting gallery, and the train station which is just too bland and open.

I'm Zero Build, and I can't stand how open everything is.
