Feedback Forum Sign-Ups Closure for CWC?

Josh does have an email address that he openly presents to outsiders, though relying on this as a means of accepting a scoop could be messy with all of the other emails he's likely getting. A new email address for information submitted by outsiders that is accessible and managed by all staff seems to be a more timely, practical and merciful solution. With this in place, it would be completely viable to close registration entirely and please for the love of god delete or freeze all of these newfag accounts.

I personally don't give a fuck if a few people think it's funny to see the same retarded reddit takes posted over and over again, these threads already break who knows how many forum records without them. It's been impossible to keep up with these events in real time. None of us have Magichan ESP powers to know which posts are worth a goddamn to read until we've already wasted time reading them, because shit comments can get good ratings and good comments can get shit ratings. There are countless posts worth reading that are in between the highlighted posts.

Regardless of the decision made or not made, many of us would appreciate it greatly if any jannies would volunteer their time to delete repeat posts, off-topic posts, pointless posts, etc. The banning of gendersperging newfags would also be a wonderful contribution to the sanitation of the board.

Plenty of members are posting equally annoying as newfags. Don’t think this idea is the answer to the BS this past week.

Time, & forum etiquette review, will help. Might help quicker if someone with more authority than me said it. That’s my 2 cents.

TL;DR: Null or a Mod highlight forum etiquette or something similar, wherever they deem best on the site. This will cut down n00b & edge-lord bullshit. Newfags aren’t lurking moar & oldfags are dragging threads just as much. Chill out & remember we’re on KF, not some other, BS, forum. Part of the beauty here is the variety of users.

Honestly for the past two summers I've wished new accounts had a week long wait period before they could post. Too many summerfags who find the Farms, don't lurk at all, sign up to post garbage for a few weeks and then drop off in September.

Is there a way to limit the amount of posts a new user can make in a day? It might encourage people to think about what they post if the only get 2 posts a day, and if they're still retarded and waste them it's a lot easier to report and have jannies sweep up one main "Can Chris be sent to a mental institution?" and one sperg reply when people call them a retard than endless back and forth.

Maybe a small Christory quiz for registration? Or hell, just ask if there's more than two genders and reject anyone who answers yes.
 
How about if someone's account is less than 30 days old and their reaction score goes negative, the editor frame is replaced with a message like "Slow down there buckaroo, you're being annoying. You're score is at (X) so we're going to give you some time to read the board etiquette, think about life for a while, and maybe go touch some grass."

I'd leave them alone for the first few points below zero, maybe just throw up a warning w/a link. If they go below -5, they can only post once an hour, below -10, once every 2 hours, -15, once every 6 hours, and so on, until they're limited to a couple days. That way, they throw the anchor around their own neck w/out having to totally lock them out.

Sure some of the Chris-Chan threads/posts are dumb and pointless, but all you do is call them a 'dumb niggerfaggot' and they either sperg out (which lets face it is a win) or they are so deeply offended that they leave (which is a great way to filter out those who won't stick around anyway).

It is all too easy to fall into the trap of thinking that anyone who registered before me is a learned elder and anyone who registered after me is a fed/newfag.

The problem is that with CWC going mainstream, there's a super high ratio of Twitter normies joining who don't understand how forums work. Idiots are replying to every post with "LOL" and "OMG SAME" because they're used to Discord. (Plus tranny troll weens who think they will defeat the farms.)

I actually go further myself. Null should have shut registration after the reddit exodus and never re-enabled.
