haven't spoken with kane personally but i have with a few of mojo's old friends, especially agony arena developers have reached out to me and said that what he's doing to ME is the EXACT same thing that he did to THEM. the dude really never did change after a year lol

that is the last thing i'd want to do. i was always intrigued with working on printern because it's a pretty novel idea and nobody has really pulled it off to the extent that was originally discussed, and since i've devised the system, i only want to keep working on the game and creating it since i really am passionate about the game.
the community has also donated a shit ton of their money, and i wouldn't want to let them down. it's the last thing i'd want to do; development on my end is just slow right now because i've had to set up a ton of shit, get things back on track, and deal with mojo's constant sperging. also because i'm in the midst of another horribly busy school week and having to write that document, just a whole lot of communication and getting things back to where they need to be

i'll try my hardest to not drop this game in the dirt, and if i happen to get burnt out of it, i can count on the other scripters in the project to pick up what i left off. i am only the head scripter after all so i can easily leave it to them and polish up what they did in my absence later

i don't think it should, but it won't show me. i would suggest buying like a visa prepaid or something if you want to keep your name anonymous, i'm using paypal so it only shows me your name in the transaction details. if you're paying with card then that's probably why it's asking

This is the most insane thing in that thread. That trust is what happens when you have something called "integrity", something you clearly have never heard of.

There's a reason why this thread warmed up to @ferret vermin after a few messages; they came here with good intentions and good posts, didn't try to belittle us and moral grandstand over how we do things, and is generally a good member of the website, all of which had no incentive since their welcome wagon was a brutal cursing out and phonebooking.

Compare that to your interactions with us, Francis, where most people started out giving you a fair shot and legitimate advice alongside the usual ribbing, but started turning on you the more you deflected and preached about how bad we are on our own site. The same thing that happened to everyone else you've known. Maybe if you were more receptive to us, your team wouldn't have kicked you out and you could've been getting this thread's support to make the game instead (I'm glad that isn't the case, because this was more entertaining and @ferret vermin deserves it more).

I'd tell you to leave, but we all know you won't, so just keep going. Keep doing the stupid shit you're doing, maybe it'll work one day.

I don't know much about this thread and don't normally read it, but whatever is going on here with people uwu-ing at each other and donating to some game project that doesn't even exist comes off really dumb and like a bad idea.

Kiwi story time: Speaking of Yandere Simulator, there was a Yansim clone that people on this very forum tried to make years back, and there were updates and the people doing it were real chummy because they were going to trigger Alex Mahan and prove they could make it quicker and better than he could. It wound up totally dead in the water. There was a bunch of drama, issues with people delivering what they were supposed to, the entire thing simply stalled out, and it was an embarrassing mark on the site's history.

We'll see if this spite project pans out. I would be surprised though, this guy's detractors mostly come off like clueless, ADHD afflicted zoomers.

Francis keeps downplaying "The Isabella Thing" as just something he innocently lied about initially and thats it. Lying about grooming a minor and having sex with them is more than enough justification for anyone to cut you off their life, Frank.

you're honestly right about that. i knew there'd be some worry around it because the game is still very primitive, but there's been a ton of stuff behind the scenes and i needed the ko-fi since fat bitch number one decided to impulsively leave the dev team. you all have the full right to make a thread on me and belittle me for the rest of my life if this game never comes out

edit: i'd also like to say i am genuinely passionate about this game. i was from the beginning, otherwise i wouldn't've worked on something i would burn myself out on. same with the rest of the team, and i'm sorry if it seemed like i'm rushing to get a game out in spite of mojo, i'm taking it slow and i just want to deliver a game like i originally was brought aboard to do

i will say that i did pour a ton of time into working on this game to push back my own projects, so i'd definitely be unhappy with myself if i fail to get a game out. time will only tell the rest though

might be a hot take but i agree that Francis is not "this generations Chris Chan", thats basically comparing Peak MJ to Ed Sheeran. Chris never had much of a grip in reality even back then and was notably mentally stunted. Mojo is actively malicious and probably wouldnt fall for bait as hard as chris would. He also doesnt have his own curseyehameha or weird habits that chris had. At best hes a boogie
