Unrelated but I will always attest that "making objects/things humanoid" is the cheapest, easy-to-grab way to earn Twitter likes on artist twitter. It's effectively a low hanging fruit. Make a random piece of candy/furniture/etc sexually appealing and you got a whole new crowd of followers.

Stuff like that can be great ways to work with creative endeavors but it's hardly done for such reasons and are just used for softcore horny bait or for trend reasons.
