But for real the week itself wasn't bad, I like the new dodging (and stunning) mechanic also the henchmen dying in the back was a neat little thing.

Side note: how long until you think someone will mod the stunning heart attack into Pico's attack lol.

Btw as a final note, did the other weeks have this much dialogue/cutscenes? They just kept going on and on in this week.

I'm super late but I think there should be a dedicated thread in Community Watch for FnF (if there isn't already). Some of this drama is very entertaining to read over.

There's this Newgrounds user called Cethic who I guess makes Madness Combat fan movies. He's been doing this for 9 fucking years. Most of his movies feature his self-insert OC with red hair. Well recently he's trooned out and started posting videos like this where his OC dances with a trans-rights sign and kills an evil transphobe. Then there's Let The Past Die where the troon version of the OC enters one of his older movies and kills his non-troon self. It's pretty psychotic and both of these movies were getting blammed to shit until he sent his Twitter followers to spam 5-star ratings.

He's also what I'd consider to be pretty terminally online. Go look at his twitter @ValHeirOfTime, he'll make dozens of post in a single day just arguing with people.

He's also obsessed with Cyberpunk I'm pretty sure, which is amusingly common among these people. Also from the looks of it, it seems he does a Homestuck fan comic. There should really be bingo cards for this sort of thing.

I've never played a rhythm game before. I finally tried this one. I failed the tutorial.

I'm going back to something easy, like XCOM 2 on Legendary Ironman.

If you're playing it on Newgrounds, look at the FPS counter and make sure it's staying at or close to your screen's refresh rate. Restart your browser if not. I think it's better than it used to be, but if you're not getting a consistent framerate then your inputs will be fucked and the game will be unplayable.

The acceptable timing did seem unreasonably narrow, so I'll double check on that. But even then I don't think I'd get very far. Having more than a couple arrows on the screen at once just broke my brain in ways I don't fully understand.

You get used to it. I hadn't really played any rhythm games before either and was getting my ass beat by week 2 on normal, and now a few months later I can clear the majority of the harder mod content one-handed.

Thank you for notifying me, suddenly this thread is interesting. Firstly I'd like to say while this person has always rubbed me the wrong way, I didn't quite expect this. I'm almost disappointed. It is funny seeing the contrast though, between the tweets following this thing and the ones directly prior. Complaining about trivial things like people not "validating" his gender enthusiastically enough to "I'M A HORSEFUCKER". They open the Google Doc explaining that the reason he's a high wire degenerate is because he "forced himself into adult spaces". What, like every kid on the internet for the past few decades?

Then he goes into grostesque detail about him fucking this furry guy. I'm not sure why, it doesn't seem especially related to the allegations. I'd like to say that while this Cethic dude is a fucking fruitcake, the idea of a 17 year old, and a man no less, being groomed is laughable. You weren't groomed, you're just as deplorable as Cethic himself.

Cethic isn't the only one going down with the ship apparently. Apparently Fleetwire who also worked on Madness Combat is also getting thrown under the bus for asking for stories of Cethic getting molested as a child.

There's more images than this, but they mostly amount to more of Fleet begging for Cethic to tell more underage stories.

Fleet's twitter account has already been wiped from the face of the earth, presumably out of shame. Kinda feel bad for Krinkels though, considering just yesterday he put out an announcement on Newgrounds saying he was gonna cut out all of Cethic's work from MC and replace it with new stuff from (at least in part) Fleet. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that that probably isn't happening anymore.
