The tranny who makes that Cassandra one seems like quite the lolcow, I've seen her making threads asking for porn of "her" character (which is just a shitty edit of Cassandra). She's had livestreams where she literally cries about Pico's School and how she's getting shit for bad writing, makes callouts of teenage girls who he doesn't like, etc...
IMO, this guy and the HD mod guy def deserve threads.

Basic Information about Friday Night Funkin'
Friday Night Funkin' is a popular rhythm game that currently has its free to play demo on Newgrounds. Currently the game sits at over 39,000,000 views. The game was created by a small team of Newgrounds users: ninjamuffin99, PhantomArcade and KawaiSprite. The current build is merely a demo and a full version was crowdfunded on Kickstarter where it gained over $2 million in funding. The game also has an extremely active modding community, with over 2100 documented mods. The quantity and quality of these mods helped to propel this game from a decent success on Newgrounds to the well-known and well-funded game we have today. Much of the popularity of the game has come from children and autists on Twitter, which doesn't bode well for a community of any game.

Modding Community
Updates for Friday Night Funkin' are slow to come out, so many members of the community have turned to mods to keep the hype going. Thousands of mods can currently be found for the game despite it being less than a year old at the time of this post. With so many different people contributing mods to a community filled with children, autistic drama is basically unavoidable. The modding community has had many notorious cases of pedophilia, backstabbing and pointless drama, often involving the most popular members.

Ceramic Skin Studios
I think the best way to start the discussion about the state of the modding community would be to talk about the biggest cow in the modding scene. The most notable cow (so far) in this community would have to be a person by the name of Ceramic Skin Studios in my opinion. He is best known as a groomer, a dramawhore and the creator of one of the worst mods for Friday Night Funkin'. Here is a video of his "mod":

This mod was poorly drawn, and contained terrible audio, but still put the creator on the map because there weren't a lot of other mods to compete with it at the time. If anything, this mod showed us that the creator was an interesting person to say the least, and foreshadowed the dumb shit that would shortly happen next.

Not long after the mod was released, Ceramic was outed as a groomer who participated in erotic role play chats with a 14 year old when he was 17. He later admitted everything was true on a YouTube post where he also reveals that he stopped when he was 18. This wasn't because he wanted to but because Ceramics age made the 14 year old uncomfortable.


Tricky Meltdown
Despite this event, Ceramic was still determined to create more mods for Friday Night Funkin'. Ceramic Skins Studios was not content with just making a new mod through. A new mod had just released called the "Tricky Mod" which was based off the the Madness series. Here's a video if you want to compare the quality of the mods:

The release of this mod apparently made Ceramic quite angry due to the use of the "r-slur" and the word "autistic" in the code.

Of course Ceramic received a shitload of backlash for this stunt and had to block nearly everyone who tried to tell him how stupid this was.


Currently his "VS Omega" mod that is supposed to be one of the biggest mods still isn't out yet and has already seen a delay once so it's tough to say how good it will really be. A demo is viewable if you really care (sorry about the e-celeb):

Update: It came out and it sucked. (go figure)

Just remember that all of this shit came from one modder in the time frame of about 2 months and there are many more like him in the community.

bbpanzu and the Sky Mod
As mentioned before, the Friday Night Funkin' community contains a lot of children. Most of them just enjoy playing the game, but a few of them have set out to make mods for others to enjoy. One of these modders goes by the name of "bbpanzu." He is well known in the community for a couple of reasons:

• He is one of the first members of the modding community to put out a competent mod.
• He encouraged shipping of his character to keep his mod popular
• He created a mod that resulted in a blunder so big the mod had to be deleted off of the site it was hosted on. Any references to this mod would not be allowed either.

His First Mod
Panzu's first mod was the "Carol" mod. It featured a new character to play against as well as a new song to go with them.

The mod is notably basic but still garnered a good amount of popularity and praise due to the fact that there wasn't much else to compete with it at the time. As newer and better mods came out, Panzu aimed to keep his mod popular by trying to tie his own character to characters in other mods. He found success when he encouraged the shipping of his character with another character called Whitty. Whitty is considered by many to be the first big mod the modding scene saw due to the fact that his mod included a considerable amount of original art and 3 new songs.

Whitty is still a popular and fondly-remembered character to this very day. Due to the fact that Panzu's character was now associated with Whitty as well, Carol also now stands as a popular and fondly-remembered character.


The Sky Mod
One of Panzu's most popular mods was one called the "VS Sky" mod. The mod is about an obsessive fan girl named Sky who wants to date the main character of the game (Boyfriend). This mod would receive a large amount of attention from youtubers and fans of the game alike. However, this mod and references to it were shortly removed from mod hosting sites.

The content of this mod seems innocent enough, until you learn that the mod character is based off of an OC by a mentally unstable 13-year-old girl.

bfswifeforever
The character in Panzu's mod was a reference to a TikToker called "bfswifeforever" (account deleted) who would upload poorly drawn and sometimes violent videos depicting her self-insert and Boyfriend in a relationship.

Despite the obvious red flags, Panzu decided that making a mod about this person was a good idea, and for a time it seemed like everything was going to be okay. Bfswifeforever didn't seem to mind having her character in this mod and everyone else saw this creation as a high-quality addition to the now numerous list of mods. However, Panzu failed to account for an aspect that is a part of every online community: Porn. Shortly after the mod was released, pornography starring Sky began to circulate around. This was a nightmare scenario for Panzu because as more porn of sky was created, the risk of exposing to the 13-year-old girl who created the character increased. Panzu attempted to stop the porn from being made by making a tweet about the character's age:

After Panzu's best tweeting efforts were expended, he accepted that the mod was a bad idea to begin with, and deleted it off of the modding site.

The concept of an accessible 4k rhythm game is great to me, as a fan of the genre. The thing is, whenever I play it I get insane amounts of dropped inputs and it's frustrating as fuck to miss notes in what's generally a pretty easy game by rhythm game standards.

They did but the version that has not shit inputs is stuck on Newgrounds as a "timed exclusive" of which the creator has said will only be lifted when newgrounds reaches the top result for searching for friday night funkin week 7 on google. (a.k.a never because that is a retarded requirement.)

There is a mod that fixes up the input system though called Kade Engine. (Now can ninjamuffin please stop being retarded and put week 7 on itch.io)

From everything in this thread on bbpanzu, he definitely deserves a spot, from the Sky shitshow, to his lust for his Carol oc, to the new Sunday mod with the political lyrics, it's such spergish behavior.

A common theme when itch.io randoms gain fame. Supported a decent project over a year ago now that had a unique gameplay idea, and since then there have been zero updates, if you check the guys Twitter the most he ever does is update unnecessary aesthetic junk and claim that the update's totally coming out soon, guys. Most indies just seem to have no idea what to do with themselves if something that was maybe just supposed to be a little fun thing gets too much attention. It's probably something to do with how antisocial most of them are in general.
