FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN' mod EVIL Boyfriend vs BF!This fnf week 7 mod adds a creepy lemon demon version of the bf as well as the gf from the new week 5 christmas...
www.youtube.com
The new corruption video dropped like a day ago now and while my original unspoken expectations of it getting to the last guy and them reversing [glitchtale 2.0 I guess] so the guy who makes it can max out his ad revenue were kinda wrong (he managed to squeeze even MORE out of it) its still pretty damn close to what I expected the first time I ever even saw this AU. But hey at least the music has been getting more original as time goes on.
I think it was interesting enough, I like how they reused PincerProd's interpretation of Corrupted Pixel BF.
But I really do hope that they don't stretch this out longer then it has to be, I'm hoping the next episode is just Lemon Demon and we can close the book on this series.
Thank you for clearing up some of the stuff I said, (wrote my post at 5 AM really quickly,) I think people should be able to use Whitty however they want. When you make a public mod it’s not really your character anymore. That’s why sock getting mad at all the lewd art of Whitty makes me laugh. You just have to expect people will try to find anything fuckable at this point.
Tbh redesigning the OC for her personal use was a good move at least. Whitty entered the FNF "canon" because of the mod blowing up, there's no way to undo that so the best thing to do is leave the old Whitty to the FNF community and make a new one.
Tricky Meltdown
Despite this event, Ceramic was still determined to create more mods for Friday Night Funkin'. Ceramic Skins Studios was not content with just making a new mod through. A new mod had just released called the "Tricky Mod" which was based off the the Madness series. Here's a video if you want to compare the quality of the mods:
The release of this mod apparently made Ceramic quite angry due to the use of the "r-slur" and the word "autistic" in the code.
That screenshot is like a whole day old, the Direct is actually happening in less than two hours!
Edit: If any of you were expecting anything big from this you were all seriously misunderstanding this community's shenanigans, but third time's a charm, amirite?

So I'm not sure if any of you has taken the time to check Ceramic's twitter (at least this one), but it's a rather interesting place to skim through. I mean, by description alone it should rise a few eyebrows minimum ("big gay" because twitter, "Vocaloid producer" to reflect his musical "prowress" and "(ACAB)" to fully nail that this is another leechy zoomer in the FNF fandom on the level of BBPanzu). How about I take you on a small tour, now that V.S. Omega is out and is making "numbers"?
If you ever decide to check the comment section of any of his social medias he has made sure to block and curate his following in a way that he gets to live in his echo chamber without any sort of repercussion. This is why only those that "forgave him" on him confessing to being a weirdo online can be seen interacting with him (with very few exceptions as I am about to show).
He does not, and I repeat, does NOT take it well that people don't want to play V.S. Omega because of his involvement with it, to the point that he gets quite passive aggressive on Twitter. (Because, you know, he created the story, the characters, and a great amount of the main assets, it's not like he's on it by name alone.) And it's in the former post where we actually see any sort of criticism/questioning aimed towards him.
Checking the archives for these two posts (1)(2), Ceramic doesn't respond to any sort of criticism being aimed towards him, instead, we see followers or friends of his shielding him from "danger". Speaking of friends, if you check Nebula the Zorua's profile, you see a very interesting post pinned at the top, which shows you how far this echo chamber can go.
For a bit of context, Nebula is the lead programmer of the V.S. Omega mod (someone you will see changing out in the comment section of the GB page often to defend Ceramic's existence), while Echolocated is the creator of V.S. Flexy (this thing) and the co-creator of V.S. Omega, and obviously a pretty close friend of his, so whiteknighting is expected.
I also wanna highlight this specific comment from that thread very quick because it feeds into what I'm saying. KadeDev hasn't been brought up a single time, but he lives rent-free in these people's heads.
I'm not sure if they could become that relevant (outside of being part of Ceramic's circle) in the future, but this is pretty much the sort of experience one has when visiting their Twitters. Returning to the main man, he's got plenty of milking potential and it's just a matter of keeping an eye on his socials (especially twitter) now that V.S. Omega is a fairly new mod and, well, he and his friends have a seriously huge hate-boner towards KadeDev and V.S. Tricky.
There's a bunch of shitposts and other very cringy tweets on @KingOfRoaches_ but I'm just too lazy to archive everything. These are not only recent but contribute to previous posts and give a greater insight on the OP's first choice for an FNF lolcow. Ceramic's egotistical, has very thin skin and only thrives because he leeches off everyone around him.
You could also give Ceramic dozens of your hard-earned cash for his music or, get this, body pillows of his characters. If that's what you guys are into, I mean.

Holy shit it's 38 minutes long!? 38 minutes of pure mediocrity!? The thing that even made me a bit pleased was ninja_muffins shitpost midway through. This entire thing reeks of tryhardiness and ninjamuffins shitpost feels like even he's not taking this event as serious as these modders. I don't even know where to begin talking about these mods in some shape or form they made me frown or cringe.

There is one mod that I do actually want to play that I saw in there:
Assuming the actual Camellia did the composition on the mod and they aren't just aping him because that'd be kind of lame.

I can take it or leave it I guess. Still pretty lame that's all they did because it would be really cool if the actual Camellia made original tracks. That being said, the vocals of the mod are actually really well done and they fit in pretty well.
The only issue I have is the charting looks too easy and the songs shouldn't have been left unmolested because some of them go on for way too long.

Taking a look at this mod right now and holy fuck this is godawful. Music seems to have no melody to it just a bunch of random notes strung together to a generic beat that he probably ripped unmolested off a free beats youtube channel. This man cannot compose. He cannot make music. He's musically retarded.

I saw someone play the mod with a dance pad and even then it didn’t look like fun. There’s ways to make a chart hard without making it cheap and unfair.

I think the worst example of this description would have to be Prelude (you know, the first song you play when you access Story Mode?). I might not consider myself a good player, far from it, but it tries so hard to be "hard" it's not even funny.
The only good song that came from this mess is Salem, and that was from the Week 2 reskin Ceramic didn't even touch (I think it was made by Echolocated? Too bad they're also too far gone because of their whiteknighting, it seems). Actually, allow me to re-write that, the only good stuff that came from this mod were most of the vanilla game reskins (and for a couple days you couldn't even play Week 6 because it was so badly-programmed it would always result in an error message and you'd have to close the whole game to "fix" it).

For real? I've seen people play the vanilla game with a dance pad, and the player couldn't do that one part from Week 4's MILF. I cannot imagine how such a non-DDR-friendly mod like V.S. Omega (or most mods, for that matter) would be bearable to play on a dance pad, the charting is a huge hit-or-miss.

Alright, now I see what you mean! I can see where the confusion came from, since V.S. Omega also uses Kapi's image, so my apologies on that.
Beathoven is based on Beethoven Virus, one of the mos well-known DDR songs. I'm not sure how different, or similar, the charts are from each other, since DDR has seen many incarnations throughout the years (some of them having ten buttons instead of the standard four), but the explanation behind that chart and song probably is "muh reference".
If you wanna see a charting mess in V.S. Kapi, though, just check Nyaw. It's riddled with stairs (left-down-up-right sequences, for those that don't know what we're talking about), and it makes the chart look like an arrow minefield at times. Also, as a fun fact, BBPanzu contributed to this one by recording a bunch of meows for Boyfriend's turns.

That seems to be the biggest misconception in the FNF modding community right now and, as long as you know how to slide your hands on a keyboard (it's a very common trick a lot of experienced rhythm gamers pick up), stairs are probably the easiest combos you could do if you aren't playing with a DDR pad or a third party controller. But to vs Kapi's credit, at least the music is catchy and actually sounds like music as opposed to whatever Ceramic was trying to compose.
