Friday Night Funkin' D-Sides mod has been updated up to week 4 now. Like with Skid and Pump, week 4 is supposed to have an additional, original song. The soundtrack for both the main menu and retry screen has also been changed to something new. I'm about to check it out.

Edit: Pico has a mechanic where you sort of "dodge" bullets he fires at you. The arrows are black in color and while missing them doesn't kill you outright, it does drop your meter just under to 25% of the bar per missed note. The gunshots also add some neat percussion.

Again I like what they did with Week 3 with the whole hero and villain swap idea but I can't get over how weird they made Cassandra look.
(Also how they made her look like Amy Rose for some reason)

As for the mom's (and the background demons) design. Not the biggest fan of them personally, they just look really weird and unappealing.

You're not alone. Most of them take themselves to seriously. I especially don't care for when they try to tie other more popular mods into their story. It's a part of the reason I don't like FNF HD.

On that note, can these mods please stop referencing each other? It makes the modding scene come off as one big circle jerk when they always have a popular mod character in the background or mention them in any compacity.

probably stupid but i am upset that the vs. /v/ mod got taken down. I genuinely liked how it wasn't afraid to be over the top offensive in a typical 4chan way.
funny though, the abundance of slurs & racism and shit wasn't what got it taken down, it was an implied incest pedophilia(?) comic that was found in the files that did?

Well the mod was going to be removed off of GB either way which is why the mod creator went all out, it was a breath of fresh air for once but of course because we live in clown world, people couldn't let us have our fun and had to bitch about how "problematic" it is.

people are bitching about how they are Sky/Panzu memes being in the mod, I don't know if Panzu himself made some dipshit announcement about this whole shitstorm but I wouldn't doubt it.

Time for discussion on FNF mods again. For our first exhibit we have a Steven Universe mod. Sigh. This mod is... "not okay" it's only noteworthy thing is literally the animation and that is not good. Sprites are very simple and barely any change, the songs in my opinion are not very good mainly because Spinal's vocals are shit. Voice acting in my FNF mod!? Please stop. I'm serious. The voicing acting in this mod sucks mainly the Narrator and story wise it is fucking stupid. That all I have to say on this mod the evidence shows itself.

Zardy week two came out and boy there is issues. Originally Zardy was carried by "Foolhardy" and later on the reanimated Zardy. So what happens when you have a mediocre song and a new character that is I must say looks like fucking trash even when reanimated. The background, the art. Just look at it.... Do I need to say it?

To end on a positive note a 1 week mod for entity (Agoti post cancelation rebranding) Came out. It is pretty nice. Short and simple really with pretty nice songs. Thus ends this look of FNF latest notable mods. Oh and i guess Neo came out but i don't wanna talk about it... Too many mod cameos and.... this.

Yeah, Spinel was absolutely the best part of the movie, too bad she couldn't save the epilogue series since she barely appeared in it.

But back on the topic of FNF.
New BBPanzu mod where he self inserts himself into a fight against somebody who hacked his newgrounds account.

Who's the girl character? Is that his self insert girlfriend? He arleady made Carol for a similar purpose so I wouldn't put it past him to make another "idealized waifu".

i'd say at least put a warning for it? I personally look for these kinds of maps bc i find the chaos nice despite being hard to follow, maybe because i don't get nauseated by it.
i honestly think my love for "crazy, disorienting maps" comes from notITG / UKSRT though, which sort of thrives with those kinds of things. I thought it was cool to see in FNF.

@Born to Die Yeah, there's some chart effects that are cool and add some flair but for the love of god unless you're making a drunk parody of FNF, the swaying motions of the charting just make me dizzy and motion sick especially in moments where you have to actually read the chart and discern what the notes are trying to convey in sequence. It's like trying to read a book on a carnival ride. I don't mind if they want to flip the chart backwards or upside down for added challenge or add some visual effects, but that swaying I see a lot and it drives me nuts.
