C'mon this is KIWI FARMS and there isn't a thread dedicated to fruits? We have a Stone Fruit thread but I want one about fruits in general.

I just discovered Sweet Pepino.

Each fruit is 3 cm in diameter. The skin is tasteless but soft so can be eaten. The pulp is quite sweet and has a delightful fragrance. The seeds are tiny and pulpish, so you eat them too. Very recommended.

The cut surface looks like honeydew melon, so I originally thought it too belong to the Gourd Family, but turns out it is another marvelous invention of the Nightshade Family, which already gave us such wonders as Tomatos and Eggplants.

This is a man picking Kumquat. Kumquat is like orange but small . It also sounds like Cumquat (thats why he's excited).
Exhibit 2 is a baby kumquat held inside a hand. It looks very orange.

Kumquat is quite sweet, especially the skin.

And there is a new variant called the Golden Kiwi Fruit: quite a bit sweeter, but usually much more expensive.
 
I'll be honest, ever since I tried apple chips, I've become addicted. Love the cinnamon flavor, I can eat one of those small bags in one sitting.

I like figs but theyre so hard to get actually ripe and when you do, theyre expensive as fuck. Black mission is okay, brown turkey is the most common, or maybe Myrna figs--but there is a variety called Panache that was genuinely one of the best figs Ive eaten. I did spend a while looking at and picking out the like 5 figs I bought, but the soft, ripest one, I cut it open, the inside was gooey and juicy, it had the consistency and flavor of berry jam but maybe a bit more floral.

My favorite fruits I guess would be citrus, after that, and probably pineapples or sort of summer-y fruits like that if theyre actually ripe, they should be golden and when theyre in season, if you get a good ripe one, you can kind of smell it if you arent afraid of looking like a weirdo in the store I guess. Berries too but berries are also super expensive.

Looks fucked up as all hell but the inside...wow, so gud.

I make smoothies, ice cream and gels out of it. So yummy.

Go to your local Chink Supermarket, you know the ones that smells like some one died in it and grab a few. Worth it.

The cara cara navel is one of the worst oranges I ever tasted. I never got why people like this crap.
 
I've eaten raspberries lately
We also recently bought frozen blueberries for smoothies in the future

Do I spreg about my Turtles' eating fruit?
