Dogs allowing their owners to pet their bellies are essentially showing they trust their owners completely.

Also dogs will pat spots they wish to lay down on and walk around in circles on them due to a trait from there ancestors. Who would often do the same thing to dislodge pests like bugs and especially ticks from patches of bedding before laying down.
 
This is a surprise only to people who don't know much about cats:

Cats do not have to be "trained" to use a litter box because it's instinctual.

The reason it's instinctual is that lots of animals, particularly big cats, leave droppings to mark territory. The small proto-cats of the Middle East couldn't compete for territory, so they evolved to bury their droppings to try to cover it up. Thus, cats will prefer, given the option, to bury their droppings beneath loose dirt or sand. People understood this and used things like that for litter, but one entrepreneur realized his father's gravel company could be turned into a special product.
 
In Galaga, on the first stage, kill all but the last left two enemies, dodge them consistently for 15 minutes. If you do so, they'll stop firing. Citation needed. Sounded like bullshit to me so I did some searching and came up with a phrase that repeatedly implied he was the inventor, while actually saying that his circus sold them and made them popular, but no actual proof.

I doubt Barnum was taking time out of his day flimflamming people to work on snack development. I don’t even think he accompanied his circus either.

More likely is that someone working concession for the circus either heard of or tasted roasted peanuts and decided to start selling them on the midway.
 
The GPU in the Raspberry Pi 4 is about 13% as powerful as the one present in the Xbox 360. It also controls the entire boot process and is notoriously difficult to program for.

I've said this before and I'll say this again, Haredim are the niggers of the Jewish people.
 
The "old Pneumatic subway station" In Ghostbusters 2 is loosely based on an actual proposed subway system built by Alfred Ely Beach. The Beach subway system as it was called only ran one block under the Rogers Peet Building in NYC and was little more than a novelty ride. Beach had hoped public support for the system would allow him to expand it into a full transit network under Manhattan but in three years interest waned and lack of funding resulted in the subway being closed in 1873.
 
Two things, one I did in another thread.

1. IIRC and well I have experienced this, zipping / rar-ing large numbers of files actually allows the combined archive to copy much faster. Something about the naming system in computers. If you have one big 1 gig file, and 5,000 small files that equal 1 gig under "size on disk" the single file will copy much faster.
2. There is a retarded you tube channel that takes rap music and slows it down to dumb levels just because. It's got loads of videos and over 30,000 subscribers and... it's dumb.
 
Flies poop about once every 5 minutes because their liquid diet means things move through their digestive tracts very quickly.
