There is a town in Tasmania known as Doo Town, where house (except for 1) has a name involving the word doo.
One of these houses is called doo fuck all.
Other weird Aussie towns include Tittybong, Nowhere else and Come by chance

What I find really weird about this fact is that there was another incident in January of 2003, involving being fat.
The Waterfall train accident was an incident where an overweight driver broke the dead mans brake and then proceeded to have a heart attack, which caused the train to hit a bend too fast and derail.

The deadliest train crash in New York City history was caused when an inexperienced motorman called Edward Luciano, who was recovering from the 1918 flu that had killed his daughter and was trained to replace personnel who were on strike, crashed his train into the Malbone Street Station, killing 93 people.

Last wide release movie to get a wide release (as in, it would be easy to find) on VHS is History of Violence by David Cronenberg in 2005. Last major Hollywood release on VHS period is Eragon in 2007, but that had a very limited print run. Of course, indie movies occasionally get VHS releases, like House of the Devil and the first two V/H/S movies, and if I recall, some European countries got Paranormal Activity on VHS.

Last Japanese film to get a VHS release is Ponyo.

And I only just found out that Inception had a VHS release in South Korea.

I remember when DVDs came out in the late 90s, and everyone was like "oh these will never replace VHS."

In August 2007, a massive communal spider web was discovered in a Lake Tawakoni State Park trail, which is 50 miles east of Dallas, Texas.

A similar web was discovered in 2015 near the same area.

The CityCenter development on the Las Vegas Strip (the Aria, Vdara, and Mandarin Oriental hotels and Crystals shopping mall) was funded by Dubai, who originally were going to run it under strict Sharia law (no females allowed, no alcohol, no non-halal foods).

The reason why the voice acting in Resident Evil 1 was so bad was because the voice director was Japanese, he wanted the voice actors to put heavy emphasis on specific words because that's how it works in Japanese. While he understood English, he didn't knew what natural spoken English acting sounded like.

John Cazale only appeared in five movies:
The Godfather
The Conversation
The Godfather Part 2
Dog Day Afternoon
The Deer Hunter

And archival footage of him was used in Godfather part 3.

All of those films were nominated for best picture.

In Dog Day Afternoon, his character refuses to smoke because he doesn't want to risk lung cancer, which is what he eventually died of.

He was also, himself, never nominated for an Academy Award.
