The training sword in the old DOS video game Zeliard is actually the weapon with the most potential. Because of a bug in the game, you can level up the sword, something unheard of in games back in the day. This can make the sword retardedly strong, if you're autistic enough to do it.

I thought you needed to know.

Despite being credited for composing the score for an American werewolf in London. Elmer Bernstein's music for the film totals less than 10 mins. He did compose a track for the transformation scene but it was replaced by Blue moon at the last minute. Though transformation would later be reused for his score on heavy metal.

In the original Halloween, Laurie strode and Dr loomis don't appear on screen together until the last 5 minutes and say less than 10 lines to each other.

Also in Halloween 2018 Laurie owning revolvers, lever action rifles and shotguns With only pump actions and pistol grips reflect Jamie Lee Curtis own views on gun rights. She believes people have the right to own guns but only the kinds her character owns and never bump stocks, semi autos, AR-15'S or any accessories that are found on guns used in mass shootings.

Similarly there are no guns in alien 3 until the very last scene because at the time sigourney weaver had become pro gun control.

In the New Testament, the Greek word for salvation actually means "to be rescued physically."

Fun farming facts that are also useful if you’re a certain kind of degenerate!
Compost materials are broken down into two broad categories; “hot greens” that compost fast and smell strongly due to their high nitrates to carbon ratio (and are usually green) and “cold browns” that due to their low nitrates to carbon ratio, take forever to decompose if not mixed with greens. Most compost heaps are best when being one part green to three parts brown and a big scoop of local soil to help the local micro-flora adapt to the compost.
Woody plants are especially nitrogen-hungry due to how wood is expensive to produce biochemically. You can help by watering with a good natural compost that you definitely have at home. Human urine has about a 1 to 1 ratio of carbon and nitrates making it a very hot green. It’s also mostly water. So if you have a cherry tree in your yard you want to harvest from, collect your piss in an old jelly jar and water the tree with it you sick fuck.
Remember that a woody plant’s young soft roots are about as far from the trunk as the edge of the crown as a rule of thumb.

And don't compost hair even if it seems like a good idea.

President Woodrow Wilson's wedding was catered by then head chef of the plaza hotel. Hector boardi aka the one and only chef boyardee. Also the food company name is boyardee because American customers didn't know how to pronounce his name properly

In the late 1800s, the National Cash Register Company used to buy up used cash registers from competing companies, replace all the brass and steel gears with cardboard ones, and send salesmen out to sell them to unsuspecting stores. They'd work for a while and break down, and the saleman would come out and go 'Well, you should have bought one from National Cash Register. I can sell you one but it won't be cheap.'

The NCR executive in charge of the campaign later left to found his own company, the Computing-Tabulating-Recording Company, which changed its name to International Business Machines, or IBM.

The original Wasp and Stinger 20 ton battlemechs from Battletech only had 48 points of armor. The 20 ton Locust had 64.
You needed to know this!

There is one word in the Scrabble English Dictionary that you can't ever play, even theoretically.

Pizzazz.

The gun in the famous "smile you son of a bitch" scene is an m1 garand. Speliburg originally wanted to use an m1 carbine that was seen earlier in the film but it was misplaced at the last minute.

The dual automatic pistols (and yes they are pistols) you can get in resident evil code Veronica are based on the calico 100mps, a semi rare automatic pistol that could also convert to a semi auto rifle with mods

On a differnt note... Part of the reason female fertility can suffer complications after just the 20s. Is because generations of having women married and pregnant often before they reached age 20. Which was common among many cultures (not just Islamic ones) caused the human body to naturally adapt the female system to reach its peak at such a young age. Since the age of men was rarely if ever taken into consideration men didn't develop this evolutionary biology

In the movie Die Hard, you see in one scene where the terrorists set up a missile launcher to attack a police armored car. There is a problem with the scene however. The device one of the terrorists uses to put the missile launcher in a steady place can't be used repeatedly that fast. I forget the name of it, but that nail-gun looking thing can't go at the speed the movie dictates.

Also extra fun fact: Bree Larsen hates the movie Die Hard because it's over two hours of a man with bare feet without toenail fungus like she has. This is why she's constantly bitter about older men.

In the very first shot of child's play you can see Chris sarandoun's character detective Norris seeming to toss his coat away for no reason.

The coat is actually part of a disguise he used to lure Charles Lee ray aka Chucky out of hiding by cross dressing as a woman ray is stalking. This was part of the original workprint cut of child's play that ran almost 2 and a half hours long.

99% of all life that has ever existed on Earth has gone extinct:

This fucks with my head. There’s so much we don’t know about our planet and its history. This is especially interesting to me as someone with a lifelong fascination with paleontology and prehistoric life.

A lot of extinct animals are only known from one or a couple of fossilized specimens (in some cases, just a few bones). The odds of an animal becoming fossilized-especially well enough to last for tens of millions of years- are astronomically low, so there are probably millions and millions of species that died out long before us that we’ll never know existed. There are so many gaps in our knowledge, it’s crazy.

Some of the stuff we do know about is freaky enough, like Anomalocaris, a giant mantis shrimp from the Cambrian period that could bite off your fingers:

Or the Eurypterids, giant sea scorpions from the Silurian period:

If they ever make another X-Com: Terror From the Deep game, you know those would make great terror units.

There's nothing left of the original animatronic t-rex from jurassic park. Natural latex decays when when exposed to water and light and the hydrolics and mechanical parts rust and break down. Rexy stood in sotarage for years being only briefly taken out for a few times while filming the lost world and jp3, until eventually her latex had gotten too discolored and her skeleton too unreliable that she was shreded and scraped.

hell this is true of almost all animatronics from the past 40 years, hoggle from labirynth, the werewolf from an american werewolf in london, zilla from godzilla 98, and all the puppets from the tv show dinosaurs.

Aww man, I'd actually love to see Pilot from Farscape on display. Sad to think that doesn't exist.

The same happened to the foam models from Nightmare Before Christmas, but a museum that bought a lot of them shortly after the movie's release had them restored recently by the original artists, so those will persist.

If they ever make another X-Com: Terror From the Deep game, you know those would make great terror units.

Some think, because of the remains and because of their size, that they would have had to have some kind of respiratory system, and would have been capable of traveling on land for at least brief periods.

During the summer, higher levels of the male hormone testosterone slows antler growth and the veins and arteries around the velvet constrict and cut off the blood supply to the antlers. By early September, the velvet dries and sheds, revealing the mature antler's bony structure for the autumn mating season.

The Charleston chew was invented in 1925 by the fox candy company (no relation to 20th century fox) and remained unchanged with no additional flavors beyond the original until the 1970s.

Twinkies originally came in banana flavor but due to shortages of bananas in ww2 they had to switch to vanilla flavor. The banana flavor was brought back as a tie in to the 2006 version of king Kong.

The rodeo burger has been on the burger king menu since it was originally introduced as a tie in to small soldiers in 1998, long after the original promotion ended.

Wendy's baconator was originally sold as tie in to terminator salvation and it also is still sold using the name.

The first bubsy game started life as a potential tie in game to Cheetos snacks and was originally going to star Chester cheetah
