Fun YouTube documentaries.

There are a lot of clip compilations out there of Fedsmoker but I've never come across a documentary about Fedsmoker. The closest I think is Josh's episode covering him on Mad at the Internet. While he doesn't cover everything, he does a good job.

There are many good documentaries but this one caught my eye cause I love Mayhem.

The Darkest Band in History (Mayhem)

The band that introduced me to how much better the metal scene is in Europe and got me into playing black metal. "Deathcrush" has stayed in constant rotation in my music library for 23 years.

Great video
Appreciate the recommend 👍👍

Plainly Difficult does some excellent engineering based docos.

The Frightened Explorer does urban exploration and finds some great locations. Love that shit.

Dark Curiosities is good for crime docs. I also recommend Brief Case, who does a shitton of research on obscure historical crimes. JCS Criminal Psychology analyses police interrogations.

Paleo Analysis is good for extinct beasties. Mamlambo Fossils is a fossicker based in New Zealand, he finds interesting shit on beaches, and shows how he spots fossils there. E.D.G.E is another great channel for dinosaur enthusiasts.

Casual Geographic is good fun.

Hervey Bay Snake Catchers are (strangely enough) snake catchers in Hervey Bay. He also gets called on to remove and relocate things like gannas.

Great Depression Cooking has a wonderful woman named Clara, who cooks recipes from the Great Depression, and talks about her experiences growing up as a child then. Unfortunately she's since passed on, but it's a fascinating channel.

Tasting History is pretty cool. It's another cooking channel, where the host researches recipes from ancient texts, cooks and reviews them, and also discuses the history surrounding them. He's a very personable man and interesting presenter. Also camp as a row of pink tents.

Megabattie is a wildlife rescuer and rehabilitator based in Sydney Australia. She specialises in flying foxes, but will also rescue microbats and any native animal that gets itself into trouble.

Ask A Mortician is often funny and fascinating. And sometimes really sad.

One With the Grain is a fantastically tragic look into the creation and subsequent fall of the development of grain alcohol in early 20th century Sweden. The narrator's voice is kind of annoying sometimes (he has a lisp) but there's a genuine interest in there that makes it worth a watch.

Comprehensively and Dastardly is probably the greatest story involving dead rats and Garfield you'll ever see. I really can't spoil much, and it's a little bit long (4 and a half hours) but it's fucking incredible. You'll see who in there reminds you of Fedsmoker, trust me.

Dead Truth: A Comedy of Alphas These guys are very very dudebro-y, but it works to the documentary's benefit. It's three parts, and I pissed myself laughing at the end. Too many kathy griffin jokes.
