I 110% agree with this. Some of my favorite panels to go to at conventions are panels where voice actors / directors will play outtakes (often synced with video) from dubs they worked on. While the featured outtakes obviously are nowhere near as vulgar as the leaked Funi clips, I can't see why an industry guest would commit to showing outtakes anymore when they could be used to disbarrage their fellow voice actors who were just riffing for fun.
I get the goal was to make the individuals who work on Dragonball look hypocritical for their words against Vic and show Funimation is inconsistent with their policies, but I think it's also hypocritical and overall unnecessary to lobby Toei to whip on the banhammer on Funimation and the other voice actors for goofing around (particularly when I imagine the majority of people posting in this thread are not remotely offended in the slightest about the content).
That being said, I cannot deny that the Sherman-esque warpath Rekieta has been able to facilitate towards Funimation has been wildly effective
