Funimation Audio Leaks - Sacred Ointment memes for degenerate teens

It's dropping off now, since it's dropped to 14, its demise is soon. Unsurprising. You can't beat out the automated trends for long, and it's already been trending for something like 8 hours. I wonder how much lasting effect it'll have.

It got big from about 4pm to midnight in Japan, and apparently Toei definitely knows about it, so we'll all see

I expect people won't let FUNimation live it down until after the lawsuit is done, but I don't think it's going to be near the number 1 spot again unless major stuff happens.

It was nice while it lasted, though. It might've interested some to learn about WW, which would be rather interesting.

I'm gonna doubt your doubt, if only because this blue work isn't based on a different IP but an IP that is closely and safely guarded by their owner Toei... who would scalp a motherfucker if they so much as looked at it without paying them first. They already hate DBZA with a passion to the point they actively try to prevent or punish anyone who tries to get that cast on board an IP they own, or so I've been told, and the only reason Funimation has the license is because the guy that founded the company has an uncle or some shit at Toei. That guy isn't at Funimation anymore, so Toei doesn't have any blood bond to the deal and the KickVic shit is already taxing them.

I see where you're coming from and otherwise would agree if it was any other company... but it's Toei and they may very well pull the license first chance they get and Sony is not gonna like that.
Do Toei really hate DBZA? Is there a source to verify this?

Makes me wonder if the clique kept him out of the industry and he's tired of their shit.
Based in his tweets it seems to be more general outrage over a property he likes and has some emotional/cultural connection to being used in an irreverent manner. Honestly comes off as a bit social justice-y, but ya know... reap what you sow.

I'll leave my comment from the Weeb Wars thread, plus an addendum.

AniTwitter is so fucking dumb. They still think they fired Vic over lots of sexual harassment claims, instead of the 3 investigated instances.
Man, I just woke up and I'm stoked. This shit exploded and reading the idiotic AniTwitters reactions is priceless.

They just like poking their noses into shit they know nothing about but "tHiS wAs sIgNaL bOoStEd bY ViC sUhppOrtUHrS. sO iT iS wRoNg".

Guess if "da Animuh Pope" is tweeting at CPAP again regarding the leaks

- P.S. I lost brain cells writing like an exceptional, and so will you reading it.
