So what's the difference between a quick remark about oral sex and a 4 minute long gay orgy with sound effects and music? Ignoring the strange inclusion of a character admitting to having sex with another child character.
I think you're missing the point or just purposely pretending to be stupid, it's not like Vic walked up to a total stranger and made that joke. It's some one he's been a coworker of for 20 years, they've probably all sat around and listened to their blooper reels and had a good laugh at it, but suddenly that one remark is a bridge too far but it's not worth bringing up for years until it becomes useful to do so.

The usual suspects reacted exactly how one would expect, all the videos have been pumped out by the other usual suspects, and at this rate it looks like Funimation is gonna pretend like this never happened. At this rate the only important updates you may see in the near future are Toei’s Response and the inevitable salt (from one side or the other) surrounding whatever it may be.

It has nothing to do with people being stupid and having a laugh at blooper reels, these same people can laugh at all the gay assbanging rape jokes they want for years yet when it's oddly convenient for them to put away a man they just simply didnt like and worked with, they change their tunes and start virtue signalling that this kind of talk and behavior is no longer okay and forbidden in the workplace, even tho they obviously have done the same and probably still act like it.
It's a double standard, and a nasty one.
It has nothing to do with fictional characters and everything to do with the way real people act and how they still expect to be believed.

Jesus, I was gonna complain about how many times people were repeating "Its not about the jokes" but appearently it really has to get repeated.
It's not about the jokes! its about the hypocrisy. Vic's joke about a jelly bean got him fired and accused of being a creep (years after the fact, mind you). Their jokes didn't.

Normally, I’d just shrug it off as voice actors having fun and mock the pearl clutching mob. What’s hilarious about this situation is how they’re reacting now that the boot is on the other foot. They’re nothing but hypocrites and that’s why this leak is lulzy.
For the record I don’t care about Vic, dragonball, the culture “war,” or Funimation. I just find it all hilarious.
