MBA says he's done with talking about Vic and threatens to ban anyone that dares to mention it in future streams.

While I agree with some of the points he's made in the past, I hope he keeps his word and stays out. If you don't like to follow something, don't talk or mention it. But deep down, I think he may talk about it again.Begs the question, What if he happens to mention vic in a future stream.
Will he ban himself. Or is he just going to keep making a fool of himself.
Who am I kidding we all know he is a joke.
It depends on if he wants to dive back into the thing most people talking about this case want. Attention. Will he, or will he not Whore out for attention by bringing it up, Time will tell and like you I hope he doesn't.While I agree with some of the points he's made in the past, I hope he keeps his word and stays out. I wonder if constructive criticism is also enough to trigger him.Mba wants to be a drama channel but he can't handle the heat of what a drama channel gets. Blocking people who commenting with the slightest criticism just shows how whiny he actually is.

I was perfectly fine with him being neutral and understand that he was done dirty, but he's saying iswv are harassing him which he was harassing hei the most.

I did remember the one of the livestreams that Mad Black literally called one person a faggot, which I did laugh at him for that, while - in his recent livestream - he called ISWV and KV faggots, which I didn't laugh at him for this. He actually trying making himself into one.I wonder if constructive criticism is also enough to trigger him.
One key difference here is that the gag reels/outtakes/VA fucking aroundery is under a different lens when it’s the official voices cutting loose in the original studio.VAs goofing off isn't new there is probably tons of shit hidden out there. All this got me wondering if VA casts for some of the more innocent shows like Arthur, Dora The Explorer, etc have done shit like this. All this got me wanting to hear more.
So what's the evidence they're citing here? No way would shit like Goku calling Gohan a fag or sacred ointments not have been all over the internet since the pre-Youtube days and been ancient internet memes if that were true. A Wikipedia edit claims "undoing ISWV vandalism, audio leaked in 2002", but that has to be bullshit, since it would've been the subject of middle school rumors before anyone could go on 2006-era Youtube and watch it themselves.
You got me. I would love for someone to prove that this was leaked online earlier or that all the VAs have already apologized for recording them. This is just typical KickVic mentality at work, I guess.
I doubt anyone will. But I think some might if what Chuck Huber said is true. This shit is funny as hell. I hope no one actually loses their job over some joking around.

A truly karmic death were for him to open a storage closet Vic used years ago, and out comes an avalanche of fabulous pants. As he suffocates to death, one of they pants, having gained sentience, whispers "who's the gay one now, bitch?"I hope Sabat gets utterly destroyed for his vile attempts to destroy Vic.
I'll settle for him getting wrecked any way, though, frankly. I don't care. If he gets hit by a bus for no reason at all, I wouldn't mind terribly.

I wouldn't be shocked if that also would roll back the clock on the volume of what gets dubbed. With only that which is the top of the pile really getting a second look at from studios and then marketed heavily to make up for the fact they're not doing cheap dubs for smaller titles. One key difference here is that the gag reels/outtakes/VA fucking aroundery is under a different lens when it’s the official voices cutting loose in the original studio.
What the Funi crew did was complicated by the fact that they were doing characters that they licensed from a Japanese company, and the Japanese are very strict in their licenses in terms of what is and isn’t allowed. It would have been one thing for Mel Blanc to do a gag reel of Porky Pig talking dirty, since he was the official voice and was a Warner Brothers employee. Toei has an iron grip on what’s deemed acceptable for their characters to say and do, and following those rules is a big part of the license agreements.
Toei would not have known this was going on, because they would assume that Funi would be professional and follow the rules, as Toei stripping the license hurts Funi, not Toei.
And yes, the actors decided to cut loose and have some fun, but that kind of thing needs to be destroyed right quick, lest exactly what happened here happen again.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see anime dubbing contracts in general change if this gets traction in the Japanese news, and if it tightens down the way I could see things going, expect a lot of small time dubbing studios close their doors and a lot more dubbing get done at the big pro facilities.
There’s also the possibility of the big Japanese companies deciding that the time has come to go multinational and keep it all under their own umbrellas and kill the licenses totally.
Like I said, if you can find anything about any of that you'd be uncovering a huge can of worms that could potentially reveal TFS's actual colors. And that would be a sight to see.
Well, i suppose we'll see what comes out of it. Especially when theres rumors flying around that they're in bed with Sabat. If it ends up being nothing more than a wild goose chase at least it was worth a try.
I'd say season 1 and 2 of DBZA are definitely fair use, but season 3 there is at least an argument to be made that it's a comedic dub, and not entirely transformative. I'm not saying it would hold up, just that 3 isn't on as stable of legal ground, likely due to Kaiser literally wanting to fuck future Trunks and not allowing things related to his wannabe boytoy to get too silly.
Videl, maybe? She kind of filled that role in the actual show.I imagine someone in the Buu saga will be his replacement, since Tien is barely there and Trunks is gone. Adult Gohan, maybe? He hams it up during that saga in canon, but I guess they could use that as an excuse to flip the script as a joke.
I'm fully with you on this one, but I don't see him getting utterly destroyed like that. Scumbags like him rarely get what they actually deserve. I have no idea why, just how the world works.I hope Sabat gets utterly destroyed for his vile attempts to destroy Vic.
