Now, I must clarify this a little. I got wind of those rumours from an extremely dubious source (A reddit thread detailing him leaving Traveller's Tales) but the guy has done a few things in the time that I've followed him that has rubbed me the wrong way. Something is just *off* about him. I'm being pretty judgemental here (lol saying that on *this* forum) but my gut just doesn't like the guy ...and I say this as someone who religiously watched his videos. They got me into assembly programming and all sorts of things.

Glad I'm not the only one who for some reason didn't like him either. Idk I can't say what it is about him that I don't like, like he just seems like a stuckup smug knowitall dipshit for being in the field for so long that he has the high ground and knows what he's doing, but he doesn't present himself that way in any of the videos I've watched from him. Maybe it's the british accent that gives me that impression? Dunno but yeah, I guess it's a bit of a fall from grace to end up working on CONSOOM game for rent money in the end.

I'll admit that the background gag of a bunch of ketchup bottles is funny but I hope that funko allows them to do better gore than this.
Shit. Speaking of video game gore. What I really miss in modern gore is blood shooting out of wounds in an arc like a super soaker*. It's usually just Half-Life 2 style splats on bullet impact. You don't even really get that much gore these days anyway.

There is one good thing about this game. It allows you to collect Funkos without damaging the environment with more plastic crap. You're just wasting electricity downloading it. Far less than would be used to make or destroy these stupid things.

Unfortunately, yes.

Fortunately, it bombed. Not quite as hard as something like Concord, I feel like that game covered a LOT of other games bombing in the time since its release, but it sounds like no one was interested in this. Including people who unironically BUY Funko Pops.

To which I say - no shit, and some faith in humanity is back. Give it like, 10 minutes on that second bit sticking around.
