Personally I am kinda happy Everton survived while Leeds, Leicester, and Southampton dropped. The amount of transfers that will come from the vultures just ripping those teams to shreds will be glorious. Don't think it would have happened to Everton tbh

Speaking of Leeds, Harry Kane really is the King of meaningless goals isn't he? 30 goals scored this season, a very impressive number and yet none of them meant anything since his team didn't even get an European spot. I don't think its his fault though, its his pathetic club's.

I think Tottenham would have legit been in a relegation battle. He was responsible for 33 goals (3 assists along with the 30 he scored) which was almost half of Tottenham's total goals scored.

For my own autistic purposes I am going to check and see how many points get dropped without his goals alone

Chelsea Aug 4th 1 point dropped
Wolves Aug 20th 2 points dropped
Forest Aug 28th 2 points dropped
Fulham Sep 3rd 2 points dropped
Brighton Oct 8th 2 points dropped
Leeds Nov 12th 2 points dropped
Brentford Dec 26th 1 point dropped
Fulham Jan 23rd 2 points dropped
City Feb 3rd 2 points dropped
Forest Mar 11th 2 points dropped
Southampton Mar 18th 1 point dropped
Everton Apr 3rd 1 point dropped
Brighton April 8th 2 points dropped
Crystal Palace May 6th 2 points dropped

Assuming this is close because some of these goals were penalties but without him who knows how the game is played out so I would say at a cursory glance, this would be the best way to look at it. Without Kane, Tottenham are down 24 points. That would have put them at 36 points and even with Everton, who just survived. So yeah, he is literally keeping them from being a relegation club

FC Hollywood indeed.

The story continues:

After Kahn defended himself on Twitter over the last days he is now backpaddling and stated that he wants to talk with the Bayern officials in the next days after everybody has calmed down.
Kahn fucked up kek

The new guy taking over Kahn's position was supposed to retire after this season. His reason: he wasn't happy how Kahn was running things and treating people.
lol

Uli Hoeneß, the Uli Hoeneß, did a shot interview bashing Kahn. Like he is disappointed and it was hard to realize that Kahn was never ready for his manager position in the first place and how he mistreated other people within the club.

That's funny bc before Kahn took over officially they built him up for some years. So nobody realized that he's an asshole for years, then they put him into the leading role and learned that he's an asshole? Sure hahaha
Also it's an open secret that Hoeneß always stood behind Salihamidzic and never was a Kahn guy.

Low key they are shifting the blame for the Nagelsmann situation completely on Kahn at the moment.

LMAO, that's a nice way to look at the situation. He's a great forward, would probably score more goals than Haaland if he was to play in that City team, or any other good team.

Idk if he would score more, but they would be more impactful. He might have more than 3 assists and help a team improve massively. I don't think he should go to United but I think he would have really done well at City. He is the forward Pep is trying to develop Haaland into as someone who can be a playmaker but also be in the box for crosses. Honestly hope he leaves the country so he can thrive somewhere else and probably win. Bayern would be funny but Madrid would probably suit him really well. Just slide right into the Benzema role

The after effects of the PL relegations are showing to be brutal:
  • Leeds have likely lost out on McKennie being bought permanently and he's going back to Juventus. They bought Brenden Aaronson for 30m last summer and would've had the chance to recoup their losses by selling him off - but they included a relegation clause which will now take effect.
  • Southampton will probably get picked apart for players to recoup losses. They've also got Elyounoussi, Maitland-Niles and Walcott all with their contracts expiring this summer.
  • Leicester City are legitimately losing half of their squad as contracts expire or through relegation clauses. Tielemans, Tete, Soyuncu, Evans, Mendy, Amartey, even Perez (whos is on loan at Real Betis) has his contract expiring this summer. Maddison will likely get sold too.
If I was to bet on any of them getting back up, I'd say Leeds. Aaronson has been shit anyway (1 goal and 3 assists for the entire season lol), and I could see a bunch of their players remaining loyal to fighting for promotion again. I can't see the same happening for Leicester or Southampton though.

Kimmich dropped the championship trophy and a piece broke off. Luckily for him it was just a copy.
A shame its not the original trophy. It would've been the most exciting thing regarding Bayern latest title.
Does anybody legitimately see inter winning CL? I
I'm hoping against hope, tbh. I've seen small/weaker teams beating great teams several times in my life. The 2005 final is the best example of this happening in the UCL, so I'm hoping it happens again.

Leeds will probably get picked apart more than you think and they don't have a manager in place. In all honesty, Southampton are probably in the best position considering they will be able to set a strategy in place with selling players and they already have a manager in place to come back. But I don't think we will see any of these 3 for a while

Yes. Lukaku has been playing well and Lautaro has been on fire since the World cup. Could easily see them grabbing a goal and defending out of their mind

Extremely possible, mexican clubs have beaten europeans in matches before so who knows.

Possible, but I just think Man City is probably the best club in the world right now. Good composition, everything is pretty well covered. I'm not saying Inter is bad but Man is just complete right now and it shows in their winnings in CL and their standings in PL.

They did lose to Brentford on Sunday, albeit it being a weaker squad they put out initially. They did put on some stronger players in the second half though and still couldn't muster a draw. Maybe that'll knock their confidence a little going into the final but I guess we'll see if Inter show up.

I really hope Inter can pull off an upset and wins the CL. I absolutely despise ManCity like all the other cheat code clubs like P$G and shit.

Lautaro may be in the form of his life right now but I saw the Coppa Italia final match and if Inter defends against ManCity like they did against the Fiorentina they go down like the Titanic.

As much as I hate ManCity I can no deny that they are very likely the best team in the world right now and for the foreseable future. Haarland was the last missing piece they needed.

Best case scenario: 0:0 for the most of the time, Inter has this one dumb lucky moment and scores the 1:0 and then they park the bus and get the 1:0 over the time.
But it's very likely that ManCity will score two goals in the first half, very likely very quick goals and then it's over.

Edit: Liverpool hired Jörg Schmadtke as new manager hahahahahaha

What a dramatic fall from grace Leicester has, since their fairy-tale run in 2015-2016.
Not even really since then, they were playing in Europe last season and won the FA cup the season before. Its been a collapse mostly localised on the last 1.5 seasons caused by FFP doing its job: crippling little upstarts trying to break the hegemony

Anybody else just kinda disappointed in Haaland though? I mean, don't get me wrong, he's an amazing player and one of the best in the world right now but for being "next Messi/Ronaldo" his stats at his current age don't even compare them at that age. In terms of being the next GOAT (compared to Ronaldo/Messi) Haaland is already kind of beginning to bust.
ManCity like all the other cheat code clubs like P$G and shit.
You think ManCity is a cheat code? I can see that. Lots of famous and good players all stacked on one team but PSG is a different story. That shit is basically a FIFA ultimate team and they still lose outside of Shitgue 1. Actually embarassing.

Inter will have to park as many buses as they can in that game. Play with 10 men behind the ball and rely on counter-attacks (avoiding Kyle Walker) and crosses. I would train set-pieces too.

Luis Enrique touted for the Napoli job. Would absolutely love that to happen just to see Spurs fans getting cucked yet again. Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Ted Lasso is on their wishlist.
