Thanks to Leeds and Everton being... Well, Leeds and Everton; Brentford, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Southampton are now all mathematically safe.

Everton's next tie is against in-form Brentford this Sunday. Whereas Burnley have the less desirable option of a hungry forth place chasing Spurs. Of course, neither should worry too much... Leeds have a must win clash with Brighton.

Just want to point out that Southampton aren't mathematically safe yet. While its incredibly unlikely that they won't be caught, Leeds and Burnley could still get 40 points and put it at GDs
 
Today in the Coppa Italia final, Allegri did what Allegri does and completely bottled it just as Juventus were starting to look like a proper team. He couldn't bare watching his guys play well, so he subbed off a midfielder for a defender once Juve had the lead, inviting a ton pressure from Inter. Eventually, it backfired on him when the refs awarded Inter a soft penalty. Then in extra time, they got a fair penalty and finally put the dagger in with a goal from open play. Allegri then had an autistic meltdown and got a straight red. What a clown.
I see some Juve fans online coping by blaming the refs but this is once again Allegri's fault. The fact that this guy will probably not get sacked after this embarrassment of a season is a disgrace. Apparently he was linked to Madrid before returning to Juve :story: holy shit, did they dodge a bullet.

Man, could you imagine how funny Madrid would have been if they hired Allegri instead of Ancelloti?

In the Bundesliga, Furth are confirmed relegated. Hertha Berlin are in 15th and 3 points ahead of Stuttgardt but have a -33 GD which is worse than everyone except Furth so that doesn't help them. So it looks like Hamburger SV and Darmstadt are going to battle it out to see who plays Stuttgardt for that final spot in the Bundesliga. Its good to see Stuttgardt back in their normal spot in Germany

Going to re up this due to something dramatic that I didn't see coming. Stuttgardt scored in the 92nd minute to beat Koln (Cologne) 2-1 in order to tie Hertha Berlin on points and jump them in the table. This secures safety. And this game wasn't a throw away for Koln, they had a shot at a european spot if they won and Freiberg lost by a certain amount of goals.


Now the Bundesliga 2 games tomorrow have some meaning. Hamburger SV vs Hertha Berlin for a spot in the Bundesliga would be wonderful to watch
 
I am glad Forest won yesterday. Apparently some big cup game happened too or something? Who cares. We might be getting a Luton / Forest final!

Also very happy to see West Ham winning at half time. Purely because Manchester United going from sitting in 4th to Europa Conference football in a matter of weeks delights me.

Edit: Ah yes, a magic own-goal to bring it to 2-2. I guess it's all on Aston Villa to halt the City title

Was just missing the Noble winner to complete the storyline. Europe in the bag though, also because wolves are shit

Man U in Conference is still on, if Hammers beat Brighton in the last game and Utd draw or lose to palace, they tumble down to 7th
 
Everton, why would you give away such a simple foul? Toney has a reputation for movement like that.

Edit: Arsenal and Everton looking to field youth teams for the tie against one another, with all those red cards collectively shared.
