Probably bought him some more time with this trophy. And saved his legacy after that debacle in England with United and Tottenham



In other news out of France,
PSG have replaced Leonardo with Luis Campos. Probably indicates how PSG will behave moving forward. Maybe they won't just constantly lose young talent to teams across Europe now

Leeds have signed Brenden Aaronson from RB Salzburg. He played under Marsh at Salzburg and will add some more depth while competing for a starting role. He can play in the midfield, on the wing, and as a withdrawn forward.


And just to add more scary for what Man City can be next year, let me remind you that, along with Haaland up front, they also have Julian Alvarez coming in July. While he isn't Haaland level yet, he is around the same age and has some talent to go with that. With Haaland most likely taking up a lot of attention from defenders, leaving him alone or unattended will be a problem. Here he is last night scoring 6 goals in a Libertadores game

So what will Mr. 1 out of 5 European Final Man's excuse be tonight? My bets are on the late kick off or the pitch. Maybe he'll surprise us and really go off the deep end with a supernatural theory.

And I can't wait for Liverpool fans to get hammered over the summer. Been insufferable this entire season and showed an incomprehensible amount of arrogance in these final weeks thinking this CL Final was in the bag before a ball was kicked.

Courtois Man of the Match for me btw. A performance of the highest order.
